Academy changes for new users:
  • Added a force that pushes characters away from space-constraining barriers.
  • Added wording to the ball generator to indicate that you need to take a ball from it.
  • Decided that 2v2 AI matches were too difficult and lowered the difficulty of the opposing AI.
  • Added a shaking effect and sound when the ball hits the ring, targets, etc.
  • Fixed text and UI bugs.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • After one minute of inactivity in a Quick Match, you'll automatically be kicked out to the lobby.
2) Change based on feedback:
  • Fixed a bug where the Grab, Nitro, and Shield UIs would continue to shake in-game.
  • Fixed a bug where Harvester Arena could be selected in Private Matches. Harvester Arena is a tournament-only map (Tournament mode is again delayed).
  • Fixed a bug where changing the Grab and Shield keybindings in Parameters would not change in-game.
  • Fixed a bug where the new Multi Grab Perk icon would not appear.
  • Fixed a bug where hitting the target in a Pass Challenge would not be recognized.
  • Fixed a bug where scores would display incorrectly when going over 99 and into the 100s.
  • Fixed a bug where languages and dubs were not initialized when initializing gameplay options
  • Fixed a bug where the minimap UI would remain visible when turned off in-game options.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • Changed the basic mechanics of Shields: Shields can no longer be activated while in the red gauge.
  • The Academy "Swing Dunk", "Swing Shot", and "Side Swing" stages have been modified for new players to understand them better.
2) Change based on feedback:
  • Fixed a bug where the Play button was inactive even when not already searching for a match.
  • Fixed a bug where the Multi Grab Perk would not appear on the in-game scoreboard.
  • Fixed a bug where rechargeable Grabs would incorrectly reset their cooldown.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Party Play in the same region.
  • Fixed a bug where adding friends would not work correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where user rankings were not displaying correctly in the Ranking Menu.
  • Fixed a bug where a grayed-out background would remain when the Minimap display setting was turned off.
  • Fixed a bug where the "Tilt(midair) Deadzone" option was not working properly and had duplicate names.
  • Fixed a bug that caused scores to display incorrectly when scores were over 99 and into the 100s.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • Changed the basic mechanics for Shields: Shields are no longer unlimited and instead have a gauge.
  • Changed the ruling on own goals so that if an opponent touches a 3-pointer just before it is scored, it is no longer awarded as 2 points.
  • Reduced the size of the ball generator as it was deemed to be obstructive to the view when playing the game.
  • The maximum angle for tilt-pitch is also now configurable in the parameters.
  • Changed the design of the in-game UI.
  • Fixed Perks:
  • Defense last Perks: changed to Charged Grab
  • Defense 2nd Perks: changed to Increased Shield Power
  • Balance 1st Perks: changed to Increased Invulnerability Time on Ball Grab
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • Fixed a bug where Grab cooldowns would not reset if you used a Grab in practice area just before a match starts.
  • Fixed a bug where the ball generator would not spawn balls.
  • Fixed a bug where the character would automatically rotate when the ball was taken away.

1) Gameplay changes:
  • You can now see your username on the Quick Match team intro screen.
  • Changed the criteria by which the character rotates when steering in the air.
  • Added 6 more steps to the Guided Quest, totaling 10 steps.
  • Added option to change the maximum angle for Left and Right Tilt.
  • Added option to change the rotation start speed value for Forward and Backward Tilt.
  • Added the option to change the rotation start speed value for Left and Right Tilt.
2) Changes based on feedback:
  • Added the ability to change maximum speed, acceleration, nitro recovery, and goal height in Private Match settings.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the ball to go off the map.
  • Fixed a bug where you could not start a game if you were the party leader on PS and joined a party with another platform user.
  • Reduced the range that characters (other than the character who collided with the ball) could be knocked back when in Power Swing or Shielded.
  • Fixed a bug where the quest completion notification would continue to appear after completing step 10 of the Seasonal Quest.
3) Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where flipping through subcategories in a locker would take you to accessories.
