Hello, this is the 213℉ Development Team.

In the previous issue #17, we introduced the synopsis of the game. The main character, Arche, a.k.a. TSURU-chan(temporary), will be battling against six rivals who are "Tsurugi wielders" just like her. We will now introduce Arche's rivals one by one!

In this first installment, we will introduce her!



A girl dressed in Japanese elements: a long sword, armor, umbrella, and rope.
Her name is...

[h3]Momiji Mizumura Gentosai[/h3]

You can call her Momiji!

Momiji is like a family member who studied swordsmanship at the same dojo as Arche, lived with Arche's family, and is like Arche's one and only best friend.

Arche and Momiji eventually crossed blades through a sword fighting tournament.


She thrusts her blade for loyalty.


What will Momiji think and aim for as she enters the tournament? We will introduce her details at some point in the future.


Like Arche, Momiji and her rival "Tsurugi wielders" will also gradually damage the appearance of their equipment as the player inflicts damage.

We have introduced many new characters and various battle scenes. There are still a lot of mysteries and many aspects of the game that you may be wondering about, but we will be sharing more information with you little by little through this News!





So today, let's talk about the main character. We have been calling her by the temporary name of TSURU-chan (temporary) for about a year now, and finally, here we would like to reveal her name to the public!
Her name is...

From now on, please call her Arche, instead of TSURU-chan (temporary)!



Who is she such a person?

Arche runs her own dojo following the footsteps of her late mother, who was known for her majestic sword skills.

She lived quietly with her younger sister as she barely got through the day teaching the neighborhood kids.

One day, an invitation finds its way to Arche. It was an invitation to a sword fighting tournament where the winner prevails a fortune and the honor of being the greatest swordsman.

Arche decides to enter the competition to protect what her mother left behind.

But what awaited her were 6 "Tsurugi" wielders.

The "Tsurugi" blade,

it possesses phenomenal powers that even slash fate.

This story depicts the 100 days of two sisters who were guided, bamboozled, afflicted, and saved by the blade.

What we would like to introduce to you this time are the 'special attacks' performed by Blue TSURU-chan (temporary)! We'd like to get right to it, but before we do, let's review a few things.





This is how the usual TSURU-chan (temporary) special attacks looked like.



In contrast, the special attacks of Blue TSURU-chan (temporary) were like this...

The conditions for triggering and the range of the enemy involved are different, so you have to think about which "school" of special attacks to use while assessing the positional relationship with the enemy and the situation, and when to unleash them.


And here comes the most important part!


We've introduced the various actions of TSURUGIHIME, but one of the features of combat in TSURUGIHIME is the "Combo Craft System", which allows you to freely combine actions to create combo attacks.

This is just one example...



In this way, switching between schools and special attacks can also be integrated into combos.
We hope that each player will find their favourite way of fighting and enjoy the combat!
