    • (Brazilian) Portuguese
    • Russian
Please note that these translations may not be perfect yet. We’d love to hear your feedback on the translations in our Discord channel or Steam Community hub!

  • Increased the font size of certain texts on Steam Deck, to improve readability.

Balance changes:
  • Singleplayer games as Earth vs 5 AIs will now be more challenging in the Locust Plague, Influenza Virus, Hurricane and Asteroid Impact disasters, as well as the Quick Game version of the Asteroid Impact.
  • Slightly buffed World Leaders in the Locust and Hurricane disasters.

  • Buffed Scientists in the Solar Flare disaster, and slightly buffed them in the Asteroid Impact quick game and Solar Flare quick game.

Dev Blog #25 - Updated roadmap!

Welcome back to our Dev Blog!

We have great news about our upcoming updates. Get ready for new languages, a hardcore mode, and fresh content!

Update 1.6: Language Support and New Features

Language Expansion:

We're introducing support for German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. While these translations are still in the experimental phase, they allow us to reach a broader audience eager to play Project Planet in their native languages. We welcome your feedback on the translations through our Discord or Steam Community page!

New Features:
  1. Hurricane Quickgame: Experience the last remaining quickgame version of an existing disaster. This mode features the Landfall and Flooding stages.
  2. Hardcore Mode: For players seeking an extra challenge, we're introducing a mode where score effects of your decisions are hidden. This will require you to carefully consider the potential consequences of your actions before committing to them.
Looking Ahead: Update 1.7 and the Supervolcanic Eruption

With all disasters now available in quickgame variants, we're taking the next leap in content expansion. Update 1.7 will introduce an entirely new disaster: the Supervolcanic Eruption.

Early development is already underway, and we look forward to sharing more details as we approach the release. In this catastrophic scenario, humanity will face one of the largest volcanic eruptions in history. Players will need to manage:
  1. The devastating impact on the immediate surroundings
  2. Large-scale tsunamis
  3. A global haze triggering a massive ice age
Stay tuned for more information on this epic new challenge coming to Project Planet!

Dev Blog #24 - Demo & Steam Endless Replayability Fest!

Welcome back for another Dev Blog!

Hey everyone, we've got some exciting updates on our upcoming demo relaunch and a big announcement—we’re jumping into Steam’s Endless Replayability Fest!

Demo Rerelease

We're thrilled to report that the demo's development is going smoothly, and we'll be releasing it later today!

Just like before, you'll be able to dive into all the roles and mechanics in the demo. The only difference with the full game is that you’ll only have access to the Influenza Virus disaster (both in quick and normal game mode). Of course you’ll still need to purchase the full game to experience all disasters.

Endless Replayability Fest

Starting next Monday, we'll be part of Steam’s Endless Replayability Fest. With five unique disasters, six roles to choose from, two game modes, and countless decision paths, no two games of Project Planet are ever the same!

Plus, we’re rolling out a sweet 30% discount during the festival. So if you are still on the fence about getting Project Planet, this is the time to join the Endless Replayability Fest and get your copy!
