New cross-platform benchmark for Windows, Android and Apple

Today we are releasing 3DMark Wild Life, a new cross-platform benchmark for comparing the graphics performance of the latest notebook computers, tablets and smartphones.

3DMark Wild Life shows the advanced rendering techniques and post-processing effects that are possible on modern mobile devices. Wild Life uses the Vulkan graphics API on Windows PCs and Android devices. On iOS devices, it uses the Metal API. You can compare your benchmark scores across platforms.
Wild Life benchmark
Wild Life measures the GPU performance of Windows notebooks and tablets. It is designed for the same class of hardware as 3DMark Night Raid but uses the Vulkan graphics API rather than DirectX 12. You can compare your results with scores from Apple and Android devices.
Wild Life Stress Test
Use the Wild Life Stress Test to see how your GPU performs under longer periods of load. Instead of a single score, the result is a chart that shows how performance changed during the test. Stress testing can help you identify faulty hardware or a need for better cooling.
Available now
Wild Life is available now as a free update for 3DMark. Download the latest version to get started.

3DMark NVIDIA DLSS feature test adds DLSS 2 support

We're thrilled to announce that we've added DLSS 2 support to the NVIDIA DLSS feature test to help you test and compare performance and image quality with and without DLSS processing on existing NVIDIA RTX graphics cards and the new GeForce RTX 30-Series GPUs.

You can now choose to run the NVIDIA DLSS feature test using DLSS 2 or DLSS 1.

Choose from three quality modes

With DLSS 2, you can choose between three image quality modes—Quality, Performance and Ultra Performance. These modes are designed for different resolutions, from Full HD up to 8K. Select 8K resolution and Ultra Performance mode to test DLSS performance and image quality at 8K.

Compare DLSS performance with the NVIDIA DLSS feature test

The NVIDIA DLSS feature test is based on the 3DMark Port Royal ray tracing benchmark. The test runs in two passes. The first pass renders Port Royal with DLSS disabled to measure baseline performance. The second pass renders Port Royal at a lower resolution then uses DLSS processing to create frames at the output resolution. The result screen reports the frame rate for each run.

DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a proprietary NVIDIA technology. You need an NVIDIA graphics card and drivers that support DLSS to run the test.

About DLSS

Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) is an NVIDIA RTX technology that uses deep learning and AI to improve game performance while maintaining visual quality. DLSS 2 is an improved version of DLSS that aims to deliver more performance and image quality than the original DLSS. You can read more about DLSS and the new Ultra Performance Mode on the NVIDIA website.

Available now

NVIDIA DLSS feature test is available in 3DMark Advanced Edition.

What's new in 3DMark v2.13.7004

This update adds DLSS 2 support to the NVIDIA DLSS feature test. Scores from other benchmarks are not affected by this update.

New
 • The NVIDIA DLSS feature test now supports DLSS 2. With DLSS 2, you can choose between three modes—Quality, Performance and Ultra Performance.
Fixed
 • Fixed a rare issue with Time Spy and Time Spy Extreme that could cause the demo to crash when using unusual desktop resolutions or 175% DPI scaling with 4K desktop resolution.

3DMark Update Released

UL benchmarks use a component called SystemInfo to identify the hardware in your system. This patch updates SystemInfo to version 5.31.
SystemInfo 5.31
 • Updated GPU detection module to improve compatibility with latest hardware, including NVIDIA "Ampere" and Intel "Tiger Lake" series.
