Charging Soulless quick fix

Hey, everyone!

Just a quick fix for the Charging Soulless, which sometimes got stuck running towards a wall. It's now fixed.

This is especially important for the Daily Test Rooms, as the issue could cause a soft lock or, more rarely, a hard lock.

Recoverable stuff + pixelation

I've been reading some reviews lately and more than one player was pointing to how harsh is the loot recovered from the dead volunteer after you die.

So, today's update brings some changes to the amount/type of items you'll find while looting the dead body. Specifically:

EASY
  • higher probability to recover weapons/gadgets/consumables/ammo (20% more each)
  • can recover more than one ranged weapon/gadget
  • higher amount of cash recovered (30-35% more)
  • can recover up to 10 upgraded stats (was 3)
MEDIUM
  • higher probability to recover weapons/gadgets/consumables/ammo (10% more each)
  • can recover more than one ranged weapon/gadget
  • higher amount of cash recovered (10-20% more)
  • can recover up to 6 upgraded stats (was 3)
HARD
  • higher probability to recover stuweapons/gadgets/consumables/ammoff (5% more each)
  • higher amount of cash recovered (10% more)
  • can recover up to 4 upgraded stats (was 3)
NIGHTMARE AND MORE
No changes

Another important update is the new option (long due, i know) to completely disable the pixelation in-game.

I like the game very pixelated, but i understand that not everyone might like it that way :)

EMPTY SHELL: THE LOOP

I've just published the Steam page for EMPTY SHELL: THE LOOP, an experiment i've been working on during the last few months.

It's not a sequel of EMPTY SHELL, but more of a spin-off, while still being canon.
It's a different take on the gameplay of the original game, and a free playable version will be available very very soon!

If you like, you can wishlist THE LOOP: that would help A LOT.

Safety first

Hey, everyone!

A quick update for a couple of gadgets, the rocket launcher turret and the anti-tank mine: i've made them a little less dangerous to use. Specifically:

  • the rocket launcher turret now has a 2 seconds deployment time before starting to target enemies
  • the anti-tank mine now has a 1 second deployment time before activating


This way, unexpected situations (like blowing up) should decrease significantly :)
