Stats fixes

Hey, everyone!

A couple of stats bug fixes, today:

  • Kills, Deaths and Rounds Fired counters in the leaderboard were resetting after a "New game", now they keep updating
  • Equipment Found Bonus stat was increasing after opening the same box multiple times, now fixed to increase only once per box

Some improvements

Here's the changelog for this update:

  • Now Upgrade Stations show the type of ammo used by ranged weapons
  • Beta and Gamma Emitter Devices inflict way more damage than before (and last a little longer)
  • Devices prices has been tweaked (the mid-late game ones are a little cheaper)
  • Fixed a problem with the Found Documents that was preventing to get the TRUTH achievement if you played the Prologue or the Next Fest Demo before
  • Fixed a bug that was misaligning some elements of the UI when changing the resolution from the pause menu

Worm difficulty scaling

Hey, everyone!

Just a quick update for the Worm. Now its wind-up time scales with difficulty.
Still a narrow window between it lights up and the attack, but it's 75% larger on easy, 40% larger on medium and 15% larger on hard (didn't change on NIGHTMARE or NG+).

Technical update

Hey, everyone.

Just fixed a problem that could happen very rarely. Some player, after a crash on startup (even a power failure) had a config file corrupted that was preventing the game to boot properly.
Now it's fixed.
Also, one document (79) seemed to spawn too infrequently. This is fixed as well.

Small ammo drop + small QoL

Hey, everyone!

Another small update, today:

  • Now Armed Soulless (except for the ones with Rocket Launcher) drop a (very) few ammo on death (the amount scales with difficulty)
  • I've removed the "floating" effect from the Found documents screen, to improve readability


When close enough, the dropped ammo is automatically collected if you already own the same type of ammo or a compatible weapon (and have enough space in the inventory).
Otherwise is dropped in the form of a lootable package.
