•What is "I Know This Place..?" short?
This is an experimental game project divided into chapters. Players and viewers can influence the plot of future chapters through voting. The chapter can be a movie, game, comic book. The plot is structured in such a way that there are many connections and a rather deep meaning. The lamp atmosphere of the 80-90s USSR mixed with folk mysticism and philosophical fiction.

•What's going on here?
Watch the intro to Chapter I and the prequel short.
Briefly: we come to the place of our childhood, to an old friend - Vladimir Mashkov. He is a scientist, asked us to come and wanted to show us something. Upon arrival, we don’t find him... but we find a strange apartment and objects.

•How many people are developing both the game and the films “I Know This Place..?” Are you receiving funding?
3 people work closely. A few more people help whenever possible. Everything is built on enthusiasm. Your purchases and Boosty subscription help. These funds will be used to promote Chapter II.
• Will the game be released on consoles?
Only if we find funding/publisher. You can't just port the game yourself. Not everything is so simple here.
•will there be VR?
There are plans in the future, yes. We also have this experience. By the way, someone on Youtube has already launched Chapter I in VR, but to a limited extent.

• Will there be more short films?
Planned. But for now, Chapter II and access to funding are the most important tasks.

• How about a board game?

•When is Chapter II?
Chapter II is half finished. The release is planned for the end of spring or beginning of summer. But as usual, everything will change several times :)

•Why is each chapter published separately?
Because We are an independent team and we don’t have a big budget for development yet, so it’s most convenient to release the game in chapters. We can edit chapters more easily, fix bugs, and each chapter can generally have its own style and mechanics.

•Could future chapters have a different visual style?
Yes. Moreover, they can be with other mechanics altogether. For example, as a visual novel, or an isometric view with pixel art, or even an interactive movie. We are free to experiment. Because we love it.
