Overseer Update out Now!

Hi Revivers, let me introduce you to the Overseer!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
What is the Overseer feature?
Players have an inventory and can pick up items from the map, place items back onto the map, and store them inside buildings.
They can perform various tasks such as cutting trees, planting food, and constructing buildings.
These actions take time, similar to the in-game characters.
This feature works similarly to games like Factorio or Satisfactory but from a third-person perspective. It’s optional, and players can choose whether to enable it.
How it works
You can turn the feature on by clicking on the Hand icon in the bottom middle of the screen. After enabling it, you’ll see an inventory in this spot.
You can use this tool either by clicking on the Hand button in the right window or by switching your cursor to the Overseer hand by pressing the Tab key and then performing actions while hovering over objects.
Pressing keys 1-9 on an English keyboard selects slots in your inventory.
You can delete items from your inventory by moving them into the bin.
Becoming a Super Mutant
With the Overseer feature on, you’ll become part of the mutant crew – a super mutant who can reach any spot on the map, have a larger backpack capacity, and doesn’t need to sleep or eat.
This feature is especially useful at the beginning of the game when you’re working towards automation. Once you manage job priorities for your crew, automate production lines, and construct excavators and trains, you won’t need to be as involved.
This is an automation game, so remember that your goal is efficiency, even though it’s fun to build everything yourself. 🙂
V 0.15.11 Patch Notes
• Can select production in a factory by clicking on the name of a product instead of checking a box.
  • Golem factory is now simplified to one production mode.
  • Beam from the sky points to a job done by the Overseer.
  • The Overseer can perform all the jobs a character can.
  • All resources mined, harvested, or dug by the Overseer are directly stored in the inventory.
  • The Overseer can take items from the ground and storage into the inventory.
  • The Overseer can delete items from the inventory.
  • The Overseer can produce items in factories.
  • The Overseer can build objects.

We hope you’ll enjoy the Overseer as much as we do. Let us know in the comments or on Discord!

Playtest new OVERSEER feature in the experimental branch!

Hi Revivers,
we have BIG NEWS for you.

After careful consideration we have decided to postpone the Space update and instead polish the Earth gameplay.

The feedback was clear: you wanted more fun and less waiting for simple-minded mutants to finish their jobs.

So, you will become members of the mutant crew!
And not just any members – you will be the super mutants, capable of performing any task in the game.
Harvesting? Crafting? Digging? Building? You can do it all immediately!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The goal remains the same: automate and build a spaceship.
However, you can now experience more control over the game allowing you to do the jobs super efficiently.
Because none of the mutants can do the jobs as efficiently as YOU.

Check out the experimental branch of the game with the new feature in development, code-named Overseer.

If you need access to the experimental branch, DM me or Pavel Jiri Strnad on Discord.

Cheers! shootinka

After this, Earth will be complete, and the gameplay will move to space – first to Earth's orbit, then to the Moon, and finally to Mars!

With the new environments, you'll still need to keep an eye on all the previously built bases to produce enough materials for the new ones.

We hope you will enjoy the Fast Forward feature and that you're looking forward to building your bases and automating in space.

UFO Update now Live in Revive & Prosper!

Hey Revivers!
This is our third big update since the launch in Early Access. Woohoo!
First off, a huge thank you to everyone here for your incredible feedback and suggestions.
You’ve really helped shape the game’s direction and mechanics, and we couldn’t have done it without your insights!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Roadmap:

1. Early Access ✅
  2. Chemical Update ✅
  3. Golems Update ✅
  4. UFO & Concrete Update ✅
  5. Orbital Update
  6. Moon Update
  7. Mars Update & Full release

We’re bringing some massive changes to the gameplay:
Martians (not the Matt Damon kind) are coming! They kidnap the last cow on Earth and demand a ransom. Besides that they bring their own set of destructive monster pets and stir up the gameplay dynamics.

That's why it’s time for you to take your adventures from Earth to space. Build and launch a spaceship, and find out what happened to the cow!.

For those who prefer the serene art of base-building, you can toggle off the Martian invasion and enjoy the game at a more relaxed pace.
What's new:
The Martians have landed on Earth and they’ve taken the last cow!
This kicks off your new mission: decide whether to comply with their demands and share your resources, or stand your ground and fight back. Either way, you'll need to build a spaceship to resolve the cow-nundrum.

  • New Defensive Options: If you choose the path of resistance, prepare to arm yourself with bullet turrets, pneumatic turrets, train turrets and laser cannons.
  • Revamped UI: We've redesigned the main menu to be more user-friendly. The campaign mode has evolved into a set of tutorial puzzle maps and official play maps, making it easier to jump right into the action. Plus, the editor menu has been streamlined for better clarity. In case you're interested in designing maps, check the short video here.
    [previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
  • Enhanced Tutorials: Our very first tutorial map has been polished and now includes a UFO encounter.
  • Flexible Gameplay: Choose between three difficulty levels and two modes—playing with or without Martians. Without Martians, the game remains as you've always known it; with Martians, prepare for raids, ransom demands, and an ecosystem filled with exotic yet deadly flora and fauna.
  • New Buildings and Technologies: Space Port for building a spaceship. Concrete Facilities that Include a plant, constructor and concrete trains. Toxic Purifiers to keep your environment clean and livable.
  • More trains: Besides concrete trains, you'll enjoy constructing trains that lay tracks and finally trains equipped with defensive turrets
  • Train Depot: For repairing and your trains
  • Enhanced Armaments: Upgraded weaponry to protect your bases from extraterrestrial threats
  • Orbital Expansion: The game now lets you fly to orbit. In the next update, you'll be able to build orbital stations, which are a step between Earth and the Moon
Patch Notes:
• All official maps now support Martians and monoliths.
  • Rebuilt the main UI: split the tutorials and official maps.
  • UFOs crash to the ground after being shot down.
  • Rebalanced the resources allowed as ransom.
  • Monoliths can be shot down by laser cannons.
  • Rebalanced the cleaning of toxins by water.
  • Fixed the unusual appearance of toxins.
  • Rebalanced concrete construction.
  • Martian monoliths can't spawn flora and monsters when submerged underwater.
  • Added new particles for spawning monsters and turrets.
  • Monsters now bleed green when killed.
  • Fixed an issue where monsters slid instead of walking.
  • Weather now dynamically appears on all maps.
  • Characters no longer get stuck while transporting resources.
  • Fixed game crashes related to the new trains.
  • Dead plants turning into biomass are now a resource and don’t need to be harvested.
