Farlands News

Farlands has been announced at the Future Games Show during the Summer Games Fest week. And in that announcement we have taken the opportunity to announce EVERYTHING:

On one hand, you already have the DEMO available, it will be playable during the whole Steam demo fest, and even after the event is over.

In the demo you will have 10 days of gameplay where you can do anything you want. It's hard to see what a farm game experience is like in a demo, but we hope you enjoy the experience.

And on the other hand, the Early Access release date for Farlands is:

July 24, 2024

As of this writing we have 6 weeks to go. Time that we will devote to bug fixing, polishing and doing everything we can to make the Farlands experience as smooth as possible, even from the beginning of the Early Access.

Thanks to ICOA (The Catalan Institute of Alternative Leisure), next 3rd and 4th of May, Farlands will have a small booth at Guadalindie in Malaga, a new fair focused on the world of independent videogames.

Farlands development is now in a tricky stage, so we can't prepare a demo just for this event, but we will bring the latest development build (and as polished as possible!).

So if you're local, want to say hello, or want to try Farlands before Early Access, this will be the perfect time. Also, we'll be bringing rewards for those of you who find bugs and manage to break the game.

In January 2023, we started working on Farlands, and to show the development process, we also started uploading a series of videos for the Hispanic community showing what we were doing.

This year, all those videos are being localized and translated so that non-Spanish speaking communities can also see the entire process of the Farlands development.

At the moment there are only two videos available explaining the initial ideas and how the development started. The rest of the videos will be uploaded at a rate of one video every 15 days until the localized version reaches the Hispanic version, after that, one video per month will be uploaded.
