Explore whole new rooms and locations, talk to two new NPCs (parent and child, both nobility), and discover the secrets of the manor, either by earning the trust of the lord or lady of the house, or by poking around until you're kicked out. In addition, there are new graphics that help convey the passage of time more clearly.

New region: The Manor! New rooms to explore, books to read, archives to visit, dinner to eat. Enjoy all the luxuries that nobility affords!



Two new characters: The Noble and the Lover (the Noble's son or daughter). Get to know both, improve your relationship with one or both (or neither), and explore all the interactions with these characters.



Discover all the secrets in the Manor! Hidden passages, old knowledge, and lost paintings. Can you discover all the secrets of the Manor?



The Lover in the Manor and the Prisoner in the Cave are determined to marry each other. Will they remain separated, or will true love prevail?

In this update, you can meet an adorably curious kitfox, an aggressive billy goat, and an elusive squirrel! There are also new mapping features, fixed bugs, a new verbosity setting for text-to-speech, and improved signposting throughout the game. I hope you enjoy! 🥳

Meet the kitfox! It runs around the map, playing with you and sniffing at the ground. What’s it looking for?



Meet the billy goat! It leaps about on the mountain, looking for something to fight. Will that be you today?



New helpful navigation path on the overworld map! Right-click or long-press the map, and a path will appear on the map showing you how to get there.



A mysterious ruby-eyed squirrel, a character from a very early prototype, finally back in the game. Where will you find it?

This one is a minor update mainly to fix some issues with text-to-speech on Mac and Linux, and also to address some feedback I got about text-to-speech generally. But I also added a wild badger to the game that I’m happy about, and that makes for a cooler update name, so this is the Wild Badger Update!

Special thanks to Michael Taboada in the itch.io comments who helped me fix text-to-speech on Mac and Linux, and all the feedback and suggestions I got from the AudioGames forums and the Discord! 🙏
