The Ash Grove Update

Hello RAMmers!

It's finally time for RAM's second major early access milestone, The Ash Grove Update!
We've been hard at work on making the world feel more alive and making each run and time back in the hub feel more meaningful. This update caps off the planned content for Ash Grove and its residents, although more memories will be added over time.

Next up will be our 1.0 update later this year where you will get to experience the final area, the last two bots, and conclude the main story.
NEW CONTENT

Ashen Citadel questline
New Aphid minigame!
Infiltrate the Aphid stronghold and smuggle contraband to a peculiar fugitive.
Check the the fire escape in the large apartment building to the East of the river
Mysterious Tachi
Rescue an odd character from Dojigiri’s fortress.
Router minigame
We can’t really call this one a questline, but you can throw mail and stuff!
Steeltoe questline conclusion
There’s finally more story to unlock by playing Horde Mode.
Memory system
Find curious locations in runs and show them to Cuckoo (or others???)
Accessible Ash Grove 6 residences
You can now break into almost every house in Ash Grove 6.
2 new skins
One is hidden
New upgrades
Unlocked via the new quests
Super Mysterious Uber-Upgrades
These are complete placeholders for now. You get them from completing questlines.

This update also fixes several bugs and adds requested features like Save Resetting (which can be found under Gameplay settings when on the Main Menu).

As always, we are keen to hear your feedback and any bugs you may experience, so please consider joining our discord server if you haven't already: https://discord.gg/Rhp6vPCvgb

Thank you to everyone for the continued support!

Introducing the 7th bot, in a new way!

Hello RAMheads,

We are excited to share with you some news about the 7th bot being added to RAM, in the form of our first newsletter. Check it out here: Three Megawatt Laser Cannon :3

So basically, you know the Deltarune email newsletter that Toby Fox does? Yeah we're doing that but for RAM. That's literally it, not much to explain. All you do is subscribe with your email address, and whenever we've got news to share about the game, it'll show up in your inbox.

We are thinking of this newsletter as a middle-ground between basic announcement posts and full video devlogs. Newsletter posts will be high-quality, long-form, devlog-style updates, just boiled down to text and embedded video clips. This means we can give you extensive looks into upcoming RAM features without derailing development for a month to edit a video, and thus you'll see updates much more frequently.

Keep your eyes open for another diary entry in the next month or two! Happy RAMming!
