Your feedback, discussions on Steam, and active participation in our Discord server have been extremely helpful to us. We took notes, and today, I’m excited to announce our first update: V1.01 Patch Notes! 📜

This update is packed with fixes, tweaks, and accessibility features that enhance your experience in Mega City. We've also addressed multiple bugs related to ability activation, ensuring smoother gameplay and tactical precision. Enforcer's attack ability, proximity mines, and controller navigation have all received the attention they deserved.

• Fixed a situation allowing the Enforcer to shoot around the police station.
  
• Resolved a visual bug affecting the Enforcer shield during level changes.
  
• Ensured proper behavior of the “ability ready” HUD when changing levels.
  
• Proximity mines now trigger correctly when placed near stationary enemies.
  
• Fixed a crash occurring after beating the game on extreme difficulty.
  
• Restored gamepad navigation for Achievements and Overview menus.
  
• Adjusted text sizes in Asian languages for better readability.
  
• Improved localization texts for a few languages.

Each of eight agents in Mega City Police offers a unique play style, encouraging players to experiment and find their favorite. Each agent has two abilities, which allow you to approach enemies differently depending on your skills.


And hundreds of guns, contracts, and upgrades at your disposal will help you to deal with all the scum in Mega City.

[h2]💪 Embracing the Classic[/h2]

Classic mode is the backbone of Mega City Police. But you can’t jump into the action if you are a rookie and don’t have experience with Retrowave Skill-Based Action Roguelike games. Thus, the Casual mode was included to ease a new agent’s entry into the genre. But if you go through casual levels like a hot knife through the butter – ramp up the difficulty and go to Classic mode asap.

One of the standout features of Mega City Police is the presence of numerous talented artists from the retrowave and synthwave community.

This is why we want to thank TimeCop1983, Sublunar, DroidBishop, Midsummer Ex, NightCrawler, Pixelrebel and Occams Lasers for their compositions! Their breathtaking music takes Mega City Police to the next level and adds a whole new energy to the gameplay.
