Welcome back TIEBREAK fans for another Steam Early Access update!

The response from the community following Early Access 5 has been fantastic. It certainly was great to receive so much positive feedback regarding how the game is progressing. In particular the feedback relating to the improved character animation and movement, which we know is a key component for many of you, was very well received by the development team.

While we love to hear about the positives, we also understand the importance of listening to any feedback regarding shortcomings and rough edges that may remain in the game. As we approach the full release of the game on 22 August, 2024, your continued feedback is more essential than ever, so thank you for helping us make a better game - we love it!

The core focus is to improve the gameplay experience, it remains of paramount importance with each update. In line with player feedback, Early Access 6 hones in on further addressing character animation when performing lunges and responsiveness during volleys. It also sees the expansion of Groundstroke modifiers to include additional shot types.

Early Access 6 includes WTA Finals added to Tournaments mode, Improved Gameplay & Character Animations, and eight additional WTA/ATP Players;

Early Access 4 added the ATP Nitto Finals, in this update we have focused on the WTA and included the Riyadh Finals - take on this new challenge and climb your way to the top of the WTA Finals!



Since we last wrote the TIEBREAK community has expanded beyond our expectations, to those new here, we’re so happy you’ve joined us on this journey! The development team has been closely monitoring and gathering as much feedback as possible from new and familiar voices alike in the various forum posts, videos and online discussions.

It is our hope with Early Access 6 that fans can see the care that has gone into addressing some of the biggest concerns and suggestions raised by the community. Continuing to share your TIEBREAK experience helps us guide gameplay adjustments and troubleshoot features, pushing the game closer to achieving our ultimate goal of being the most realistic tennis game yet.

Lastly, as we close in on TIEBREAK’s full release, time is running out to become a part of our Early Access journey! We would like to remind those who have not purchased TIEBREAK Early Access that the final price at launch will be €49.99.

Welcome back Tiebreak fans for another Steam Early Access update – five is alive!

We have to say we are really pleased with the response and feedback we received for TIEBREAK Early Access 4, it was great to see the positive feedback regarding the progress made in several areas of the game.

While we love the positive feedback, we also note and address the negative feedback as it is just as important to making a better game, and we know that the majority of you were not happy with the addition of the adrenaline system. After public discussion and consultation on the TIEBREAK forums and Steam, we have decided to remove it from the game for this Early Access 5. It is our hope with this update that you will see that we have continued taking on and working with your feedback to push the game to its limits. You rest assured that we will continue to work on and improve with each update as we approach final release.

Early Access 5 heralds the introduction of Star Player Career (One Season, for feedback) and a Movement and Groundstroke revamp, plus eight additional ATP / WTA players;

While we have your attention here, we’d like to shout out to the many new fans that have joined us on the forums to give feedback, we’re so pleased to have you all onboard - please keep that feedback coming!

The final release of TIEBREAK (on August 22nd, 2024) will include the ability to play a career with custom players, in addition to Star Player Career Mode. In the meantime, TIEBREAK Early Access releases will introduce even more new players, WTA finals, press conferences for Star Player Career Mode and gameplay improvements (of course!).

We would like to remind those that have not purchased TIEBREAK Early Access that the final price will be €49.99, and in line with that, there will be a price increase to €39.99 on 10 June 2024.

Lastly, there has been a lot of feedback on the smaller details such as line judges, ball kids, and a challenge system, these will certainly be included in future updates, but for now our focus is the core gameplay and implementing change based on the TIEBREAK experience you have shared with us.
