NTR'd By Clumsiness News

Hey! I hope you guys are doing alright. It's been too long since I released an update for NTR'd By Clumsiness, so in that sense, it makes me really happy. Though there are a few difficulties that make it more of a bittersweet experience.

Story

First, let's get this out of the way. V0.8.0 is about 13.5k words. It adds 5 new CG sets to the games and 3 scenes.

For the things that I'm missing, I have one animation for the last scene that I'm still waiting on. So I'll add it in the next release… it would be stupid to delay the game further for something like this.

Now, for even more negativity from a negative cat, there's one scene that I had planned to have two different perspectives for, but I gave up on it. It's not worth it. I'll just move forward even though I feel like this particular scene is lackluster on its own. Another thing… but there isn't much added to the mystery (Chris') perspective. I added a bit at the end for his perspective, but it wasn't even planned for this release. Natasha's perspective is 12k words long on its own.

The biggest thing that really bugs me is the fact that we're seeing the same event for the third time. I knew that Yvan's perspective was kind of out of nowhere, but I really felt like it would add something. I don't regret writing it, but it's just unfortunate that, because of the fact that I update this project rarely, it feels like I was just padding for time… which is not at all the case.

All in all, I'm disappointed, personally. I know it's annoying to always read me say the same things over and over again, but that's just how it is. I might do a big update as the final instead of two small ones. I don't know. We'll see how it goes. There are around 23k words left to the story.

Achievements

I finally got the chance to add achievements. I know some of you really wanted that feature, so here it is.

Price Change

The game was always meant to be a bit more expensive. with this release, it feels like a good time to up the price a bit. So the price of the game just changed from 4.99 USD to 6.99 USD. It's not much, but it's still worth noting. I won't be changing it further than that, I don't think.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to bring you up-to-date with the situation concerning the artist of NTR'd By Clumsiness. For those who don't know, my artist was in the hospital since the first week of December. Well, I'm happy to announce that he's been discharged not too long ago, he's feeling much better, and has slowly restarted working on the illustrations for the next update of NTR'd By Clumsiness!

I'm rather optimistic that I should be able to release an update in the month of February. Now, there might be one animation that is missing—it depends a lot on the speed of my artist and animator—but if that's the case, I'll simply release something this month, and update the scene whenever I can. I don't think people want me to delay a release for one single animation.

Anyway, that's all I have to say.

I just got words yesterday night that my artist for NTR'd By Clumsiness will be hospitalized for the next two months and thus won't be able to work on the project. Obviously, this is a very sad news for multiple reasons. He didn't give me much details, but I hope it's nothing too serious and that he can recover quickly. Our communications are usually very to the point and centered around business because of the language barrier, so even though I tried to ask him more questions, I don't know if he's going to answer them.

Now, I don't know how to handle this, really. I didn't expect this. Compared to APBLU, NTR'd By Clumsiness only has one artist, so it's not like I can give the job to someone else. I guess the best is just wait and hope that he will have recovered in two months… but it is kind of a scary situation. Of course, the most important is his health, but I also need to think about you guys. I feel bad. I still needed three CGs for the next update, and the CGs that I have are not enough to release a small update.

This is disheartening. I'll wait and see if I can receive more news on the subject… I just wanted to let you guys know.

Hello guys. Hope you're doing well. It's been a while since I've released an update for NTR'd By Clumsiness, so I'm glad that I'm able to release one this month. Now, before I bring up my negative vibe, I'm just going to state what's new in this update.

V0.7.0 is 15k words in length, adds 4 cg sets and two small sex scenes.

Alright. So now I can be negative! Although this update is probably one of the longest, I have mixed feelings about it. That's mainly because something that sounded good on paper ended up being a bit too… repetitive. Also, there's no Natasha perspective for this update. I wanted to have a bit of her perspective, but that particular scene was way too long to be added. I would have needed a month or two just for the CGs/animations. I wouldn't be surprised if V0.8.0 is her perspective only. Anyway, it's not a bad update per se—the artist/animator did a great job—but I just would have liked to give a bit more.

What's worse is that I'm exhausted. Even though I'm not satisfied, this update asked a lot out of me (it doesn't help that it comes out in the same month as a big update for A Promise Best Left Unkept – Aya Edition as well). That's because there is also something else that I added.

I was able to find a voice actress for the moaning sounds. Her name is Miko. I found her on fiveer. I was about to post her page, but she's no longer there, which is a shame. In any case, while there were some miscommunications, I think she's talented. Overall, the moans are serviceable. Could have been better, but for a small project, I'm satisfied with it. My only concern is that I can no longer contact her if I want more sounds… but we'll cross that road if we ever get to it.

I tried to add the moans to earlier parts of the game, but it's not the most intuitive job. It's the kind of thing that's a bit of a pain to add retroactively. But anyway, it's there.

Also, I've remade the last sex scene of V0.6.0 (stuck in the wall) to add the animation. Once again, a pain to change retroactively.

And the last thing I added was a way to jump to the latest version of the game (so v0.7.0). That's for those who lost their save file for example. It's just an easier way to go to the new content painlessly. You can find the menu in the extra section of the game.
