[h3]Soldiers![/h3]Update 1.24.1 is introducing a new reworked depot, changes to the matchmaker and a new booster type to increase your experience gained by your soldiers!
[h3]The New Depot[/h3]We have reworked the depot to be more reliable and universally usable as item storage.
The new depot will be integrated into the soldier screen to be easier to spot for newer players. In addition, it will be quicker to navigate and have better filters so you can spend less time looking for your items and more time kicking ass.
You will be able to transfer any item owned by your soldiers into the depot for 50% of the item price. Redistributing an item to another soldier via the depot has no cost.
Please note: Soldiers who own items incompatible with their class can transfer those items to the depot at no cost. (This is only relevant to soldiers created before 2016)
Weapons and vehicles now indicate which upgrades are attached and upgrades in the depot can now be redistributed individually. Additionally, you are now able to see the ownership requirements for any item so you know exactly which ribbon(s) your soldier needs to unlock or which weapons or vehicles he needs to own to be able to use the item.
The new depot is not only designed to be easier for you to use, but is also a new and better way for us to do giveaways, cool event rewards and introduce exciting new items. We aim to make the depot the central place to browse your undistributed items. In an upcoming update we will also make your ribbon boosters available in the depot, thereby giving you a better overview when boosting your soldiers.
Matchmaker Changes
[h3]Infantry, the working horse class![/h3]Heroes & Generals is a combined arms game which means Tanks, Planes and Infantry must work together to obtain victory on the battlefield!
However, a good balance is important – Infantry are the key to victory. If your team lacks the manpower to push the enemy’s position, the battle may be doomed.
This is why we are adjusting the maximum number of specialist classes that initially join a battle.
The matchmaker previously allowed up to six specialists (recons, pilots & tank crews) in a battle and a maximum of four from each class.
We are reducing the total number of specialist classes which can join a battle to five.
Each specialist class will have a reduced limit on how many can enter a battle initially.
There will be no more than two pilots, three tankers and four recon when the battle starts.
You are still able, and encouraged, to change classes during the tide of battle.
A General’s influence might require you to pick the right soldier for the right job, so stay on your toes!
[h3]Soldier Experience Booster[/h3]Boost your soldier’s experience with this new booster! Get the salary you deserve or take the highway to become a General faster!
Soldier experience will yield 100% more for 4 hours. Veteran members will receive the boost on top of the boost from their membership.
