We’ve just released an update with several fixes and improvements based on your feedback (details below). Thanks to your valuable reports, we were able to quickly identify and resolve issues to enhance the overall gaming experience of Lindwyrm.

Improvements / Player Feedback
  • Trap damage has been reduced to improve the overall gaming experience
  • More information about the player attributes and resistances has been added to the inventory
  • New ultimate skill icons have been added
  • Objects that let you reduce your Rune Curse have a small chance to spawn in the underground
  • Entering a Guardian floor will no longer consume runes
  • Improved several environment issues
  • An option to disable auto-targeting for Controller has been added to the settings


Rune Board
  • New Rune Board Effect: Giver of Life
  • Players can revive co-op players unlimited times
  • New Rune Board Effect: Elite Enemies
  • 5% chance per floor that all monsters spawn as elites
  • New Rune Board Effect: One More Chance
  • Saves all the other effect runes upon death
  • New Rune icons
  • Effect runes that were picked up are still unlocked and usable even if not immediately applied to a slot


Bug fixes Monster & Combat
  • An issue with multiple monster spawning has been fixed.
  • An issue with a Golem skill dealing no damage has been fixed.
  • An issue with Feirefiz not being invulnerable has been fixed.
  • An issue with “Kar the Old” not hitting the player has beeen fixed.
  • An issue with players getting stuck after being pushed back by a monster skill has been fixed.


Inventory & Equipment
  • The unique item “Breastplate of the Phoenix” is now visible
  • An issue with the HP regeneration of the “Breastplate of the Phoenix” has been fixed
  • An issue with the unique item “Seven-league Boots” triggering a dash when doing a jump-attack has been fixed


Rune Board
  • An issue with the Rune Board not being closed after death has been fixed
  • Effect runes “Gold Explosion” and “Gold Meteor” cannot be added at the same time anymore


Misc
  • Several NPC issues have been fixed
  • Several text issues have been fixed (English and German)
  • Several multiplayer issues have been fixed


[h3] Known issues[/h3]
Coop
We are aware of an issue where monster can be invisible for some of the player in a group. We working hard on a solution for this. If you encounter this issue, you can send us a screen shot in discord from the map where you are playing at in that moment.
In other occasion while playing in coop, it could happen that the game does not leave the loading screen when entering a new floor. That is under investigation as well.

Epic 50% Sale

Dear Adventurers,

To celebrate the Lindwyrm 0.5 update, we are launching an epic 50% discount on Lindwyrm!
The biggest new feature of the update is the new Rune Board, which is now accessible anytime and anywhere. Additionally, runes can now improve every character attribute, and special effect runes drop from special monsters (elites, mini-bosses, and bosses) or in reward chests. [/h3]To participate, players must play Lindwyrm between October 18th and October 25th, 2024. The goal is to venture as deep as possible into the dungeon.

Take a screenshot of your character at the deepest dungeon floor you reach, making sure the Floor Level is visible at the top of the screen.

Submit your screenshot by email to [email protected] by October 27th, 2024, 11:59 PM (CET).

The player who reaches the deepest floor will win a Turtle Beach Atlas Air Headset and a Recon Controller.

Two additional winners, selected from the remaining participants, will each receive a Turtle Beach Atlas Air Headset.

The winner of the Recon Controller and Headset will be the participant who submits proof of reaching the deepest floor in the dungeon.

Lindwyrm Update 0.5

Dear Adventurer,

this version 0.5 is the first bigger update since the Early Access! It comes with a brandnew Rune Board as well as several improvements based on your feedback and bug fixes (see details below).

[h2]What's new?[/h2]

[h3]Rune Board:[/h3]
The Rune Board is not stationary anymore but can be used everywhere and anytime. It’s located in your menu and includes two seperate boards, “Boost Runes” and “Effect Runes”. “Boost Runes” lets you add runes to all your character’s attributes with a limit of 180 for each category such as Offensive, Defensive and Misc. In “Effect Runes” you can add special effects and bonuses that will drop from special monsters (Elite Monster, Guardians and Bosses) or from reward chests. You have three available slots for each category (Offensive, Defensive, Misc). If you die, one spot will be cursed and cannot be used until the curse gets removed at the NPC Albert in Sigiswal.



[h2]Improvements based on player feedback[/h2]
Coop - Fallen player in coop sessions can now leave the game at any time.

Controller - We implemented controller layouts for the most known Controller devices. These can be changed in the Game Settings.

Hints - Some new hints made it to the game to give player some more info on how to do certain things in Lindwyrm.

Town upgrade - The upgrade management has been improved.

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]

[h3]Combat & monster:[/h3]

Bosses are now immune to stun effects when they fly off screen.

Bosses can now only be defeated once, making it more consistent with the story.

The boss fight with Feirefiz had some visual glitches. These have been corrected.

New keys to enter boss rooms. Bosses require a key depending on their elemental setting.

The poison value of monsters is now scaling correctly.

Monster power values were not updating, when the player switched between save games.

Special monster “Goldemar” now drops loot.

Some monster have been rebalanced in terms of power.

Baubas and Golem have been improved.

[h3]Skills:[/h3]

An issue with the dash attack triggering more than once has been fixed.

The Auto-Dash-Attack item attribute (on unique boots) is now working as intended.

[h3]Quests:[/h3]

An issue where an ice dungeon quest could not be resolved has been fixed.

Follow up quests after defeating bosses were not starting properly. This has been fixed and affected chars will receive the quest automatically after the patch.

Quest NPCs are now still displaying their quest text after a quest has been started or completed.

The “Piece by Piece” quest is now fully implemented and rewards you with a special equipment item.

[h3]Co-op:[/h3]

With this update we are introducing cross play. Players from Steam and Epic can now play together!

The group window is now updating accordingly when a player has been revived.

Home teleport is now working when all other group members are in spectator mode.

General improvements of the synchronisation between host and guest players.

[h3]Dungeons:[/h3]

Players now have more control over when they face Guardians. After completing every five floors, you can choose to enter a Guardian Floor. To unlock it, you'll need rune types that match the dungeon floors you've just completed. Example: If you cleared three ice, one fire and one physical floor, you'll need three ice, one fire, and one physical rune to enter the Guardian Floor.



Several minor map improvements.

Several sound effects have been implemented and improved.

[h3]Misc:
[/h3]
The reward chest in Sigiswal (town) has been further improved in terms of usability and visibility of the loot.

The dash icon now has more than three indicators if the player has increased the dash skill limit with a special rune effect.

Every monster now has a picture in the death screen if it became the players nemesis.

The dialogue for lifting a rune curse is now more informative and user-friendly.

The town upgrade “increased player inventory” is now working.

Player statistics have been improved and new statistics have been added.

Textual correction for several entries in the Traveler's Log, user interface and on items.

The game performance has been further improved in all dungeons.


[h2]Known issues:
[/h2]
In multiplayer, guest players may occasionally experience asynchronous gameplay.

In some dungeons some objects may not be displayed properly. We are already working on fixing it.
