Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes News

Stardock released a major update to its classic fantasy strategy game, Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes today. The new version incorporates many months of fixes, performance optimizations, AI enhancements, balance tweaks and a host of other improvements.

We are really happy to finally be able to get this update out to the fan community. We've been making improvements to the game for many months and been waiting until it reached a critical mass of updates to get it out there.

The game takes place on Stardock's fantasy world of Elemental. In it, players start a kingdom from the a single leader and must contend with other civilizations who are looking to take control of the world. Players research technology, design their own units, build cities, fight wars, go on quests, engage in diplomacy all while trying to unite the world under their rule.

Everyone loves the heroes and factions in Legendary Heroes, but not everyone knows, at a glance, what they do. We recognize this, so we’ve fixed an issue where custom faction abilities wouldn’t show what they actually did. Now when you go to check what an ability means, it’ll actually tell you! ;)

Recruit heroes to champion your cause, expand your kingdom to gather valuable resources, and engage in tactical battles against hundreds of opponents from Ravenous Harridan and Burning Wraiths, to Ashwake Dragons and the legendary Delin, the Pyre of Man. The DLC adds additional items like the Possessed Axe and the Shadowbolt Staff, events like the spread of a new cult in your lands or the appearance of a giant skeleton, maps, and more to further enhance your experience."We wanted to provide the best version of the game for new and old players," said Derek Paxton, Vice President of entertainment at Stardock.  "To do that, we have added a new Stamina system for more tactical combat, over 20 new abilities and spells, and each of the races now has access to new racial abilities.
