Spell Disk 0.5.7 Update

  • Added a new outfit: Bunny outfit.
  • Added a new accessory: Bunny ears.
  • Changed the unlock requirement texts for some outfits and accessories. Since the portrait images of the enemies were displaying the information better than the words, some redundant texts has been removed for clarity.

  • Adjusted the rendering order when the player is jumping (via the new outfit or hammer's charge attack).
  • Added a total outfit/accessory counter in Survivor Mode's wardrobe too.
  • The wardrobes now have additional highlights to indicate which side you're controlling.

  • Adjusted and optimized the player's light circle against the wall. It will no longer attempt to lighten up dark parts of the wall.
  • Optimized the hammer's attacks.
  • Optimized the way the duration of spells is calculated, affecting 80+ spells.

We believe this update will be the last of the 0.5 version. Our planned next patch will be a major update, allowing you to progress further beyond the gate!

Spell Disk 0.5.6d

  • Increased damage level modifier will not override the danger level's damage modifier. The level modifier will add more damage to the damage from the danger level.
  • Adjusted the translation for Crypt (2nd stages) for certain languages.
  • Changed the name of 3rd stages from Citadel into Barracks, to fit more into the theme of the setting.

Spell Disk 0.5.6c

  • Fixed an issue with the fireball spell that had a compatibility problem with upgraded/optimized 2D light handling.
  • Rebalanced the mana shot spell; while it is still somewhat ineffective, it is not as underpowered as before. The reasoning is that, while the mana shot spell served as a placeholder item to catch item pool overflow cases, once obtained, it entered your starting spell item pool. This made it much more accessible than intended. Therefore, we adjusted the power level of the mana shot spell along with some of its features (wall detect, speed variation, etc).

Spell Disk 0.5.6b

  • Internally reworked the headband accessory to address extreme cases error. It functionally remains unchanged.
  • Adjusted the timing of enemy summoning during boss encounters; enemies will now only begin spawning after the boss cutscene concludes.
  • Modified the interval between summons for the boss's minions. The interval increases with the number of alive minions.
  • Raised the maximum auto-summon cap for minions from 11 to 12.
