WEEKLY UPDATE!! 5/18/25

Just a quick update for you all this week!

I’ve been continuing work on commissions, and as of writing this, I have one slot still available. If you’re interested in commissioning me, please be sure to reach out soon—once it’s filled, I’ll be closing commissions for a while. Also, there are still a few Crimson Veil sticker bundles available on my Etsy shop! If you haven’t grabbed one yet, now’s a great time to check them out:

WEEKLY UPDATE 5/11/25

Hey everyone!

It’s been a little while since my last update, so I wanted to check in and share what I’ve been up to lately.

As some of you may have seen, I opened a few commission slots last week. Since then, I’ve finished coloring a couple of personal illustrations that I had been meaning to complete, and I’ve started working on the sketches for the commissions I received. I’ll be sending those out as soon as they’re ready.

A few slots are still available, but once they’re filled, I won’t be reopening commissions for a while as I shift back to development on Crimson Veil.

You can find all the commission info below. If you’re interested, send me a direct message or email to [email protected]

In other news, I’ve also put together a Crimson Veil sticker bundle now available on my new Etsy shop! These cute, glossy stickers are limited in quantity and will only be available while supplies last. Check them out here:

As for the game, I plan to resume full development on Crimson Veil in June once I’ve wrapped up all pending commissions. Before then, I’m planning to release version 5.6.3, which addresses even more bug that were reported—huge thanks to everyone in the Discord for helping catch those!

If you haven’t joined the Discord server yet, you can do so here:

Lastly, I want to mention that I have posted a new Player Satisfaction Survey for the latest game update. If you have a few moments, please fill this out as the data is invaluable for upping the quality of the game:

Taking a Much-Needed Break

Hey everyone.

Now that the latest version of Crimson Veil has been released to the public, I wanted to take a moment to make a separate, personal announcement.

I’ll be taking a two-week break from posting and from social media in general. The truth is, I’ve been feeling mentally burnt out for quite some time—especially outside of game development. As many of you know, I work on Crimson Veil entirely on my own. While I do have a few amazing testers and a community that offers ideas and feedback, the writing, coding, art, and management falls on me.

Even during vacations, I’ve struggled to truly step away. I haven’t given myself a real break in a long time, and lately, that’s been catching up with me. I’ve been feeling consistently low, and not just because of development—it’s been a tough few months personally, too.

So, for both my own well-being and the future of the game, I’ve decided to take a full two weeks off. No posts, no updates—just time to rest and reset. I’ll still be reachable through Discord if something urgent comes up, but otherwise, I’ll be offline.

When I return on May 4th, I plan to reopen commissions. I know many of you have been waiting for that, and I think shifting gears for a bit will help me recharge creatively. (I could also use the extra funds...) Once commissions are cleared, I’ll dive back into work on the next major update: Chapter 4-V of the Vampire Route. This is a story I’ve been eager to tell for years now, and I can’t wait to share it with you all when it’s ready.

Until then, thank you for your continued support, and I hope you’ll understand my need for this short break. I’ll see you all again on May 4th.
