Version 1.0.1 - Small fixes

Hello everyone, it's come to my attention that Snafu suffers from some "real" bugs/glitches that required some fixing.

- Fixed bug where if you die while reading a note, the note would remain on the screen after death,
- Fixed the beginning vault HINT which was incorrectly representing the X & Y axis of the puzzle (White vs Black),
- Fixed an issue which would allow players to pass through certain walls in the castle,
- Fixed an issue where Simon dialog (in the farm house) would not trigger until after midnight versus when access to the house would be originally granted (after 21:00).

I apologize greatly to those who experienced these issues!

If you come across what you believe to be an error to the game, please don't hesitate to reach out!

cheers, everybody.

Snafu is now available on Steam!

And just like that, Snafu is now available on Steam!

It's been a long and difficult process, but the game is finally done.

If you pick up a copy, please consider leaving a review with your opinion of the game (whether you liked it or disliked it). This is a very new type of horror game for me, and maybe for many, so I would love to hear your feedback!

Thank you everyone - for those of you who support me, who follow me and who stick by my side when building all of these games - it's always an honor to release these little games to you all!

Snafu is coming out tomorrow - March 8th!

It's finally that time again... Another TurnVex Horror Release!

Let me start off by saying this past month was an absolute nightmare - working a full-time job alongside completing Snafu with a very tight release schedule was absolutely wicked... But nonetheless, the job was done and I am quite happy with the results.

As I've already mentioned several times, Snafu is a very different type of horror game so I am very VERY curious to hear the opinions of you all when the game releases on Wednesday March 8th.

For whoever wants to know:

- Snafu has an estimated completion time of approximately 80-minutes. However, this could skyrocket to several hours depending on the level of detail you scower through!

-Snafu features full controller support (For the first time ever!! wow)

- And as always, 3 official endings with a horrible 0.5 bonus ending for those of you who really screw up...

I want to wish you all the best and I hope you give Snafu a chance alongside providing your opinion on the game - that would be greatly appreciated for future titles :)

cheers, everybody.

Weekly Update 2

Hi all!

We are here once again to provide a second update on the development stages of Snafu.

The main focus last week was to integrate Snafu into Steam, complete and connect all achievements, and finish any little straggler items in between. That is all complete and tested. Alongside those tasks, I've also been brainstorming ways to end the game in the form of 3 possible endings - I believe that is complete, too.

With that being said, the focus THIS week will be implementing and completing all 3 endings (Hopefully the way I've imagined it). This part will take some time, but I am confident that I will have everything complete a few days before March 8th release!

Here are some dev screenshots of some completion points:

- Completed adding some new assets into the game (Mainly the castle area) such as tables, chairs, chandeliers and more. There are a few more additions that I will have to put together in Blender before I am fully satisfied!

- Complete all puzzles of the game (of course, one including a vault combination!) and several others in between.

- And, of course, I've added some cute artwork throughout some areas, too. They really brighten up the place...

Thank you, everyone. I look forward to hearing your thoughts of this game once released.

And with that being said, I will see you all on the 3rd and final weekly update, next week!

cheers,

Stan. T

Snafu if fast approaching!

Hi all,

Just wanted to spread word that Snafu, my upcoming horror game is almost here!

Development is beginning to approach the final stages, and so far I can say that I am very happy with the direction of the game. It is a very different horror game, very unique, in my opinion.

After spending this whole long weekend working on and completing a castle of the game, I am a little more comfortable with the March 08 release date of the game.

Here is a little snippet of the inside during night time when its the spookiest...

There is not much else I have to say right now other than "get ready" for something entirely different!

cheers!
