Thank you very much to the players from Japan for their enthusiastic support in introducing the Aquascapers game. We've noticed many Japanese players talk about this game on social media. Therefore, we are making efforts to support Japanese players by providing them with a more comfortable gaming experience through Japanese language support.


In this latest improvement, we have added support for a new language, Japanese (日本語). The translation process itself is not yet 100% complete, so you may occasionally find sections that are not translated correctly. However, with this early-stage update, we hope that players from Japan can have a more enjoyable gaming experience. With our iterative update process, we will always strive to improve both language and other features' quality.


We apologize if we used English for this update information, but we hope this information is easily understood, and you, our enthusiast Japanese players, can help us spread this information to other Japanese players.


This concludes Improvement Update #4. Please ensure that you have received the new updates by restarting your Steam client or using the verify integration option in the game's properties. The new version is marked as v2024.05.1 [719f260], visible in the bottom left corner of the main menu.

Hello, Aquascapers! 🐟🌿

We greatly appreciate your support and feedback throughout the Early Access phase of Aquascapers. Many reports and feedback have been documented in our backlog, and some are already in the process of being prioritized for solutions and fixes.

In response to your concerns about the current lack of meaningful use for in-game currency, we're excited to introduce one of our targeted features: Interior Shop. This is just one of the solutions we are developing, and it doesn't rule out the possibility of additional features in the future to address this concern.

With the Interior Shop, you can purchase a variety of furniture and interior designs to replace elements in your Homebase, allowing you to personalize its appearance and showcase it to other players. To access the Interior Shop, simply use the new TV located on the right when entering the Homebase.


You'll need to purchase each item to change existing elements. For this update, the interior that can be replaced includes Ceiling, Floor, Upper Wallpaper, and Lower Wallpaper.


Here are some captivating glimpses of the Homebase, transformed into a visually distinct space with a new and personalized appearance. With the introduction of the Interior Shop, you now have the freedom to tailor each element to your liking. Whether it's the Ceiling, Floor, Upper Wallpaper, or Lower Wallpaper, every item you purchase unlocks a realm of possibilities for customization.


Express your unique style, create a space that resonates with your personality, and let your creativity shine. Your friends visiting your Homebase in Multiplayer can now witness and appreciate the changes you've made. This update not only enhances your Aquascape showcase but also adds a new layer of individuality to your overall gaming experience.


In addition to introducing the Interior Shop, we've also provided information about the functionality of the Steam Screenshot feature, accessible via the F12 button. Use this feature to showcase your aquascape results, the appearance of your Homebase, or other in-game events to the Steam Community. Each screenshot taken will be displayed by the Steam Client when you exit the game.

It's been several days since we launched the Early Access for Aquascapers, and we truly appreciate the enthusiasm from all of you as players, supporting us by providing valuable feedback to the game. We have carefully noted down many of your feedback and identified various issues that you encountered along the way.

In this update, we addressed the following:

1. Revisiting Camera Sensitivity:
After our last update regarding Camera Sensitivity adjustment, some players still reported experiencing dizziness or discomfort. To address this, we attempted to change the default value of camera sensitivity and provide the camera sensitivity settings as well. Before this update, we set the initial value of 0.75; now, it is 0.5. However, it seems we need your input to determine the optimal value or if there are other factors contributing to the discomfort. Please share your thoughts on this matter in the discussion forum here.

2. Fixing Altingia Forest Achievement:
We resolved the achievement issue related to Altingia Forest. All players should now be able to obtain this achievement as they progress through the tutorial or skip it. For those with more progress, simply update the version and continue or load the game to acquire the achievement.

3. Updating Several In-Game Text:
We identified some typos and text that needed clearer directions to provide better information to players. As a result, we updated several texts to ensure our information is clearer, and descriptions are improved.
