Sandbox Mode & Cinema Mode (Patch 1.2.8)

[h2]Sandbox Mode Unleashed[/h2]
Only a small percentage of players had discovered Sandbox Mode, so it’s now unlocked by default for everyone!
Jump in and let your creativity run wild—spawn enemies, build with blocks, and experiment freely in this chaotic, Gmod-style playground.
Just a heads-up: enemy-specific achievements are disabled in this mode.

When in game press "P" on your keyboard for Cinema Mode, and capture high quality screenshots! (Note this is different then the ingame camera item.)
Be warned—it’s a bit experimental and might act up, so best to use it during casual sessions, not serious runs.

Patch 1.2.7 Bug Fixes

Hi everyone,

Some bugs that I saw on different streamer videos that I wanted to get around to fixing.

-The Spino would sometimes get stuck in a walking animation on Horde. This is fixed.
-The Goliath could "trap" the player in the shotgun room, the Goliath will now go back to his patrol if the player goes in there.
-There was a bug where one of the roaches would move around when dead (in the room you can flood).

Patch 1.2.6 Horde Primal Difficulty Nerf

Hello,

So I got a few messages that achievement hunters are stuck on the achievement for beating Horde on Primal. There is only a couple people on PC that have done it and nobody on console.

This patch should make it so this achievement is a bit more balanced.

Changes:


  • Checkpoints at wave 15 and wave 35.

  • Enemy spawns have been decreased.

  • Players start with more money on Primal vs other difficulties.

  • On Primal players start with 3 NPC allies.

  • More item boxes and a second turret.

  • A couple of small map changes, I added a trap where you can drop red barrels on the enemies.


Patch 1.2.5 small tweaking

Hello everyone,

This patch has some small tweaks as follows:

-The allied Mercenary NPCs have been nerfed by 10%. They were just so strong that they would tank any enemy.

-The Ammo Box on the boat in the Meg fight has been fixed. Before if you had a full inventory you would fall off the boat.

-The Utahraptor attack has been buffed.

-Max gives players a backpack now on his item table in the lab for rescuing the drowning guys.

Fossilfuel 2 on PS5! Also Patch v1.2.4

Hello everyone,

News:

Fossilfuel 2 is coming out on the PS5!

It will be up by 11/30.

This will largely be the same game as the one here on Steam but optimized to run on the PS5.

During the transfer many new bugs have been fixed along with a few tweaks.

Changes:

-A bug where the pistol and rifle silencer would be lost when putting it in the storage crate is fixed. (The icon doesn't change in the storage crate but it saves the state of the weapon)

-Tweaked the horde mode so enemies spawn in a more even pattern.

-The "water trap" on horde mode does more damage to enemies.

-Robo Rex gets some help from his minions on Horde mode.

-There was a bug where you could shoot through the glass and killed the "drowning allies"

-A bug on the R27 sight has been fixed

-A broken glass bug has been fixed

-Velociraptor attack range increased by 30%
