Hey there!

Let's put up the stream (again and again!) of Developer gameplay for Seeker: Quest Giants & Pooplets -update!

It seems like people like to see a short clip how the game plays, so... Here you go!

Aim is to catch the "Poppy" Seeker which is a "Season Seeker" available until the end of January!

Hope you enjoy the stream!

(The Stream is pre-recorded and repeats every ~30 minutes)

Vacation is over and the roadmap is on the plate!

Hey you!

I just wanted to inform all you lovely people that my ~two week vacation is now over and I'm jumping back to work with the planned roadmap!

In case you missed the Roadmap announcement, you can read it HERE.

Looking forward to the months to come and bring more awareness for the Seeker: Quest! During the vacation period, it was so awesome to hear positive feedback of the game from different sources.

In my neighborhood, the ~10 year kids have found the game (thanks to my oldest child) and they've been trying to catch the Poppy all Winter vacation. Some of them even succeeded! (read: most)

Happy new year everyone!

Added more space to inventory and character selection

Hey!

Some users had already collected so much of Seekers and items that they we're running out of space. That. Is. Awesome!

I decided to make a quick fix for this by just increasing the amount of Seekers and items you can see on the screen, but the upcoming updates will include more ways to deal with overwhelming amount of Seekers and items.

The upcoming update will feature the "Evolution Chamber" building, which allows you to combine your Seekers into new, more powerful evolutions of them!

Also the "Abyss Portal" is coming as a usable building. Allowing you to "gift" your Seekers to the Lord of The Abyss to obtain some unique abilities and artifacts.

Happy holidays everyone!

Roadmap Released - Seeker: Quest Future Plans

Happy Holidays everyone!

I wanted to share a ”Roadmap” of things I’m planning on either testing, or adding into Seeker: Quest within the coming months. I’m going to have a week of vacation starting from today, but after that here are the things my main focus are:
Full Controller Support
I want to have the game accessible to controllers much, much better. The current system is not something I’m very proud of. Not with it’s controls, tutorials or anything related. Also the code structure will need some refactoring to do it well once and for all.
Steam Achievements
A lot of people have been asking for Steam Achievements so I will add those as soon as possible!
The Evolution Chamber Building
There are already a good amount of users who have collected so much of Seekers that the list is full. (How awesome is that?) So now we need some new features to ”delete” the characters. Because just plain deleting wouldn’t be fun, I want to add an ”Evolution Chamber” building into the game, which allows you to combine the Seekers into a new evolution level. There will be some amount of combinations from the beginning, but this will also be a feature I’ll develop further during the Early Access period.
Abyss Portal Building
To address the issue of having too many Seekers, I want to add functionality to just delete them also. But with a reward! With the Abyss portal you’ll be able to send the Seekers through the portal as a ”gift for the lord of the Abyss”. By doing so, you’ll get a reward in exchange. You will lose the gifted Seeker, but get some fun items you wouldn’t get otherwise. These will include some unique abilities and other artifacts.
PvP and Leaderboards!
I’ve been dreaming of having some sort of way in competing with other players. The current plan is to add a seasonal island, in which you collect points. With these points you’ll compete against other players and get rewards. (Such as new Seekers) This feature is still in planning phase, so it will take a moment to get it implemented.
New Island: Stardust Island
As there will be a total of three islands, the ”Stardust” island will be the second one. Featuring its own new Seekers to collect, but also to continue the story and fight the second boss!
New Island: Spirit Island
The third island will be the Spirit island. Yet again to continue the story of the game and have the third boss fight available! (Not to forget the new Seeker encounters!)
Final Boss
The Leerking will eventually come into the game, which will feature the ending of the story. Once the Leerking is finalized, the Seeker: Quest can be considered as ready for the 1.0 release!

I hope you like these new upcoming features and be sure to jump into our Discord for further discussions!
PS: Remember to leave a review for Seeker: Quest! With the reviews a lot of more people are able to see the game on their storefront!
Happy Christmas to everyone and the most awesome new year. The year 2025 will be one to remember!

All the best,
Klaus, The Jester
