Fun & Fishy: Highlands Fishing Expansion coming in November!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Farming Simulator 25 is getting its first major expansion. And it’s a fun and fishy one! Highlands Fishing, arriving November 4th for PC and consoles, adds aquaculture, a new map, new machines & gameplay. You will soon be able to farm fish as well as fields!

Highlands Fishing will be available both as a standalone expansion and bundled with the base game in a new Highlands Fishing Edition. Pre-order is available now. The expansion will unlock for owners of the Year 1 Season Pass on release day.

Welcome to Kinlaig!
Where Green Hills Meet the Sea

The new map, Kinlaig, draws its rugged charm from the windswept landscapes of Scotland. Expect rocky valleys, thick grass, and long stretches of overcast sky. It’s a place where you can build farms, tend to livestock, and now - take to the water to harvest fish! Authentic stone castles and traditional architecture add historical flair to this picturesque setting.

Aquaculture Comes Aboard
Let's Get Fishy!

This expansion marks a first for the series: players can now engage in aquaculture. You’ll be able to breed, raise, and harvest fish such as salmon and trout using both land-based tanks and boats out at sea. Prefer a quiet moment by the shore? Grab a rod for a relaxing round of shore fishing. It’s a whole new way to enjoy the simulator’s calm pace.

More Than Fish
New Animal, Crop & Machinery

It’s not just about the fish. Highlands Fishing also introduces a new crop as well: onions! And a new animal type: Highland cattle. There’s a healthy boost to your equipment list too, with more than 20 new machines added. New manufacturers like Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread, and GT Bunning join the lineup, supporting both land and water-based work.

Whether you’re casting nets or planting onions, this expansion deepens the farming experience in exciting new directions. Time to prep your boat and your fishing boots!

Welcome Ford to Farming Simulator 25 – a pioneer of industrialization. It's available now - and included in the Year 1 Season Pass.

3 New Brands & 21 Machines

With over 20 vehicles and implements, you’ll farm the open plains and vast prairies in style. Especially with two legends: the Ford 976 & 1156 Versatile - two iconic agricultural vehicles produced between 1988 and 1993, that remain loved and reliable today.

Precision Farming 3.0 & Patch 1.8 – Out now!

Farming Simulator 25 gets a substantial boost in realism with Precision Farming 3.0. With more than five million downloads since we released the initial version, we had to bring it back. And we've added new features in addition to existing ones - find out more below!

Available Now!

DE Precision Farming 3.0 Now Available - Free Pack!

Tramlines & Subsidies

In this new and improved iteration of Precision Farming, tramlines help you plant like a pro -guiding your machinery along the same paths each time for cleaner fields and healthier crops.

If you're planting catch crops like oilseed radish, you'll get rewarded with in-game subsidies for choosing eco-friendly, nitrogen-saving methods over standard fertilizing. Just like the real deal!

PWM & Section Control

Precision Farming 3.0 also adds some cool tech: Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) - a fancy name for sprayers that can adjust output on the fly. Instead of just blasting fertilizer nonstop, PWM lets each nozzle do its own thing, pulsing out just the right amount depending on your speed or turns. That means less waste and better coverage.

We also add Automatic Section Control: Your machines will now switch individual parts on or off as needed - no more over-spraying or missing spots. It's cleaner, smarter, and better for the environment.

New Machines & Retro-Fit Sensors

You’ve got six machines to play with in this update, including the John Deere R975i sprayer and the HAWE body swap system. Ever wanted to turn a trailer into a high-end slurry tanker? Now you can with the Wienhoff 25.200 PTW Profi Line that comes with a manure sensor.

And for those of you sticking with other sprayers, you can upgrade them with PTx Trimble WeedSeeker2 sensors to spot-spray weeds like a boss. Simply retrofit them!

What's Precision Farming?

Haven't played Precision Farming with Farming Simulator 19 or Farming Simulator 22? Let's do a short recap, huh?

  • Precision Farming was initiated by EIT Food, Europe’s leading Food Innovation Initiative, in cooperation with John Deere, educational institutions, and other partners.
  • Co-funded by the European Union, the initial goal was meant to highlight sustainable technology in agriculture to create awareness in the general population.
  • Farming Simulator was basically offering itself as a vehicle to transport the awareness of sustainable farming, reaching millions of players world-wide.
  • Other partners of the project: The University of Hohenheim (Germany), the University of Reading (UK), Grupo AN (the largest cereal cooperative in Spain), and the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of Polish Academy of Sciences.
