Is Warframe Steam Deck compatible?

Is Warframe Steam Deck compatible? Any developer who can proudly boast more than a decade of activity with a live-service title knows how to keep up with the market. Warframe is a game that doesn't necessarily scream 'play me on a handheld', yet the current trend of optimizing games for devices like the Steam Deck ensures no one ever feels limited with their experience.

Warframe system requirements

What are the Warframe system requirements? There can be no doubting the quality of Warframe's community given that the game has been live for over a decade. A big part of this is also the approachable system requirements that don't scare off new players.

You won't need one of the best graphics cards to get going with Warframe, which is one of the best free PC games you can play. The system requirements still sit very low like many live service titles tend to do, even after years of updates.

Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry
SPOILERS: This Operation is meant for players who have already completed the “Whispers in the Walls” Quest!
You may have fended off The Man in the Wall’s opening gambit and faced the Murmur beneath Deimos, but the worst is yet to emerge from that expansive indifference, Tenno. Fibonacci needs your help to rally the Clans and set up a new kind of defense through your Clan Dojos!

Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry commences on December 18 and will end January 15 at 2 p.m. ET.

How It Works

To participate, you must install the new Vigile Jahu Gargoyle within your Dojo using Resources collected from Albrecht’s Laboratory. This will connect your Dojo to those of other Clans throughout the system and allow you to start powering it up!

From there, travel to the Effervo Mission on Deimos and successfully take down one of the Fragmented Trio. Each Fragmented One will drop a Cursed Murmur Energy for the whole Squad depending on its type.

 • The Fragmented Suzerain will drop the Curse of Knowing.
 • The Fragmented Anchorite will drop the Curse of Seeing
 • The Fragmented Zelator will drop the Curse of Hearing.

Be wary, though. Void Angels are also lurking around the Laboratories and, should you fail to stop them, they will consume the Curse.

After the Mission, return to your Dojo to feed the Curse to your Gargoyle, banking your progress towards the community reward: the Krios Signa. Once the goal is met, you’ll be able to purchase this new Signa from the Vigile Jahu Gargoyle until February 15, 2024!

Your Rewards

With each successful foray against The Fragmented Trio, you’ll also acquire Grotesque Splinters. Trade these Grotesque Splinters with the Gargoyle in your Dojo to receive Entrati Sigils, a Color Palette, and many other rewards! More Grotesque Splinters are awarded for playing on the Steel Path.

Fibonacci Plushies

In collaboration with MakeShip, we’re releasing a brand-new plushie featuring the Cavia’s fishiest member: Fibonacci! You can order your very own plush inspired by one of the in-game Cavia Floofs by heading over to MakeShip today.

That’s not all, Tenno! We’re also making a $5000 donation to the London Humane Society to keep spreading the love to animals big and small that inspired Whispers in the Walls. After all, where would Albrecht be without his loyal companion, Kalymos?

Good luck, Tenno! You are all that stands between the Murmur and the Origin System.
