DOG DAYS TACTICAL ALERT: LIVE ON ALL PLATFORMS

Don your inner tubes and sprint to the beach arena, Tenno! Cool seasonal Rewards and the ultimate summer bragging rights are officially up for grabs during the Dog Days Tactical Alert.

DOG DAYS TACTICAL ALERT

With your ultra-powered Soaktron, enter the beach arena and win this splashdown before June 25 at 2 p.m. ET to earn a wave of rewards:

Mission 1: 50,000 Credits and Redeemer Abysso Skin
Mission 2: 50,000 Credits and Hydroid's Relay Scene
Mission 3: 50,000 Credits and Hydroid Reprise Noggle
Mission 4: Orokin Reactor and Stratos Emblem

In the arena, there are no Mods, no Pets, no Abilities — just an equal engagement between you and your opponents. The team with the most soaks before the timer runs out wins. Run out of water? Reload your Soaktron at the water fountains shooting throughout the arena.

During your water wars, you’ll earn currency that can be exchanged at Nakak in Cetus for extra Rewards, including Floofs, Captura Scenes and more!

Gear up for the splashdown with the Dog Days Ephemera, earnable from Nakak for just 1 Pearl. While this item will disappear from your Inventory at the end of the event, the Soaktron Rifle Skin is a permanent Customization! Redeem from Nakak for 490 Pearls and give your favorite Rifle a refreshing new look, year-round.

The Dog Days Tactical Alert runs from now until June 25 at 2 p.m. ET. The aquatic darling Yareli might still be around the corner, but don’t let that stop you from jumping into the Origin System’s greatest water fight ever!

Celebrate Pride all year-long with the Pride Color Palette, available in the in-game Market for 1 Credit starting June 7 at 2 p.m. ET until June 30 at 11:59 p.m ET. Warframe's new Sisters of Parvos and their alien dogs will hunt you down

The next big update for Warframe is nearly here, and along with the reveal of the new warframe, Yareli, developer Digital Extremes has also lifted the lid on the main focus of the update: the Sisters of Parvos, the new Progenitor-based enemies after Kuva Liches, who will even send their killer alien dogs after the player.

As revealed in this month's devstream, the player will be able to create their own unique Sister of Parvos adversary after completing a specific mission and donating a Zenith Crown to the Granum Void. Parvos Granum will then pop up with a bit of ominous expository dialogue and spawn one of the new Sisters, which the player should be able to finish off quite quickly if they're careful - at least this time, but it won't be so easy the next time.

While players search for Requiem mods in order to face their Sister on the Orbiter, just like with Kuva Liches they'll have to face the Sister's allies that have been sent out to kill the player. However, instead of Kuva Thralls, the Sister of Parvos sends out an alien hound, which will be more difficult to kill - but more rewarding.

Warframe devs reveal Yareli's abilities

Warfame's Sisters of Parvos is coming soon - how 'soon' is yet to be determined - and one of the big additions is, of course, a new warframe. This time it's Yareli, and in a new devstream, Digital Extremes has revealed exactly what the new 'frame is capable of.

The first thing you need to know about Yareli is that she's very 'adorable anime girl', right down to blowing giant heart bubbles in one of her idle animations. The aquatic theme continues throughout her entire kit, including her secondary weapon, a bubble gun. That secondary gets extra importance here, because her passive ability increases secondary crit damage while you're moving.

Yareli's first ability sends out a series of Sea Snares - big bubbles that stick to enemies and deal damage over time. The second ability summons Merulina, a creature that works pretty much like a K-drive, except that it absorbs damage while you're riding it. Her third ability surrounds Yareli with a spinning set of Aquablades, dealing damage to enemies that get too close. Her ult, Cyclone Strike, draws enemies together in a big whirlpool and launches them back out.
