The Devilry Reservation News

Update from 10/12/2023

We have great respect for the Scandinavian culture and decided to add languages for Scandinavian players. Often players from these countries are deprived of translations into their native languages. We (as best we can) strive to restore justice and provide all players with comfortable access to our gaming literary history.

-Added Norwegian localization.
-Added Swedish localization.
-Added Danish localization.
-Added Finnish localization.

If there are any problems with the translation, please report them to us.

Update from 10/04/2023

-Fixed a critical bug with the electrical panel, which caused the game to freeze without the ability to continue. There was a bug where interacting with an ax would break the electrical panel quest. The ax deleted the interaction sprite.

-Fixed a bug in interaction with characters and the box. There was a bug where the player could not start a conversation when simultaneously kicking a box and trying to talk to a character. This oversight could only be corrected by interacting with the door.

-Fixed a typo in a word in one of the dialogues.

Update from 09/27/2023

-Fixed a bug where the game would freeze completely after scanning the Obertun character. We were informed that the game was freezing due to scanning. This was due to the fact that we did not foresee certain factors during the development of the second chapter of the game.

-Fixed a bug due to which the dialogue about "irresponsibility" did not appear when all the conditions that trigger it were met. It turns out that not a single player who completed our game to the end saw this very dialogue. He just didn't show up. Now he is. It seems like a small thing, but it’s nice.

-Fixed a bug where the player heard the sound of footsteps when chopping wood. Many may not have noticed this, but that’s how it was.

-Fixed the display of the “Night” aura. This character's aura was flipped to the right side.

-Fixed a bug where when scanning Shishiga she would break the text window.

We wait? It's true?

We are still working on the second chapter of the game. I hope that closer to release you will all add the game to your "Wishlist".

We recently had a funny situation where it seemed like the game's development would stop for an indefinite period of time (Perhaps even a year or two). All because of the blocking of Binance in our country, or rather p2p transfers. Using this service, we paid for a subscription to the game engine that we use to create the game. But with difficulty, having spent 7 hours completing this operation, we were able to extend the development for another 2 months by paying for a subscription. We hope that we will be able to finish the second chapter during this time. Although they constantly put a spoke in our wheels, they constantly introduce new restrictions - but we don’t stop making the game, and we just want to make good games.

We are far from global ambitions that bring in millions of dollars, but we want to remain in the hearts of each of you. We'll be in touch, see you!

Here's a small screenshot from the second chapter of the game. I think this is seriously intriguing.

Update from 09/18/2023

-Fixed display of Japanese game text. There was a problem with displaying Japanese text, when it did not fit and was cut off in the text information output field. This issue occurs because Japanese letters are wider than others and the text field has a character limit.

-Fixed a bug where the player managed to enter the door faster than a ghost in one of the apartments. Because of this error, the player ended up in an apartment and could not get out of it.

-Added text with important information displayed in the game settings menu, namely it relates to text language settings.

Don't forget about us. We are currently making the second chapter of the game. I hope we will have time to finish it before the end of autumn.
