Collectible cards now in Rise of Gun!

In Rise of Gun, a gun shop simulator set in a zombie apocalypse, I’ve added Steam collectible cards! Now, you have the opportunity to earn cards just by playing the game and trade them for unique badges, vibrant emoticons, and backgrounds for your Steam profile.

Upcoming Update

Hello everyone! Today I will upload new changes and additions to the test branch, preparing the game for a major update. I'm glad you're still with us and waiting for new updates! Our community is growing, and that only motivates me further. So, what has been changed:

Level System

1. Added sounds for bonus card animations and for the "My Information" menu.
2. Implemented saving of all activated bonuses.

My Home

1. A computer has been added to the house. It can study information and generate experience, which you can later collect and use.



Weapon Maintenance Service

1. Two new tools for cleaning and repairing weapons have been completed. Animations are ready, and functionality is partially implemented.
2. Blinds have been updated: now they can be opened and closed, and an interface notification appears when interacting with them.



Additional Mechanics

1. A coffee machine has been added to Carmelita’s restaurant. It will allow you to enjoy delicious coffee in this grim world and restore your energy, helping you stay more active.
2. Added settings for acceleration and sprint functionality. Now, if you get a bonus card with a sprint ability, you can use it.
3. A notification has been added to inform you when you have unused spins.



Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an issue where entering the tutorial circle would open the wrong menu page.
2. Fixed a bug where, after placing boxes of food or barrels, you could not pick them up again if something was built on their spot.
3. Fixed a bug where weapons weren't attached to the workbench after loading the game if they were previously placed there.

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the delay in sharing news. Here are the latest changes for the upcoming update. You can test all of this in the test branch, and more information is available in our Discord channel.

Small Update to the Test Branch
What was added and changed:

[Ability to drink at the casino]: Now you can enjoy a drink when visiting the casino, adding more atmosphere and variety to the game.


[Shop icon on the compass]: The icon for our shop on the compass has been changed to make it more recognizable.
[Shop sign]: A sign has been added near the entrance to our shop to make it more visible.


[Bug fixes]: The issue with the disappearing interface has been fixed.

[New "My Information" tab]: A new tab has been added, which includes:

An indicator of the number of attempts to get a perk.
A table displaying character bonuses.
A list of passive bonuses.
Display of your inventory.

Perk attempts: You can now gain perk attempts for every level you achieve.

[Bookshelf bonus]: The bookshelf now provides a bonus to earned experience, although it currently has no effect.


Decor materials: The materials for the house decor have been updated so they no longer get wet when it rains.

New dreams: 20 new dreams have been added (localization is not yet available).

Collection shelf and bookshelf: Information about the collection shelf and the bookshelf in the house has been added.

Decor name correction: The name of the decor in the house has been corrected.

[Perk system]: Perk cards have been added, and the selection and addition of perk bonuses have been implemented (these bonuses don’t affect gameplay yet but will be soon).


Window cleaning: You can now clean the windows of debris in your house.

What will happen in the next update?

Hello everyone! We are sharing news about the next update and what is already ready in the test branch.

What's new in the character leveling system:

Added: experience for completing training missions and a sound notification when leveling up.
Experience changes: it is now correctly saved and transferred to the next level.
Experience limit: experience is no longer awarded for actions performed by Workers.
Level changes: the percentage of experience received for leveling up has been increased.
Statistics:

Added:
Tracking earned and spent money.
Tracking collected and spent scrap metal.
Crafted and sold weapons.
Distance traveled and much more.
What is already ready in the test branch:

Character leveling system:

Added: numbers on the progress bar, display of experience, new level animation.
Accrual of experience for actions: cleaning large and small garbage, building, collecting cassettes and collectibles, buying spare parts, water and food, upgrading objects, crafting parts and ammo, collecting water, recycling spare parts, collecting scrap metal, creating weapons, completing orders, buying and searching for blueprints, selling weapons and ammo.
House changes:

Moved the bed and shelf for collectibles, changed the introductory video.
Bug fixes:

Fixed incorrect display of collected scrap metal.
Also completed decoding in the house. Added markers to the computer, house and store, as well as a new window for servicing weapons. These changes are already available in the test branch.
