Major Content Update Live!

The free content expansion for Dungeons & Jewels is now live!

Features:

[h3]General:[/h3]
  • You can now track your location in the dungeon using the new map screen - to help navigate the branching paths.


  • Rebalanced enemies in Advanced mode to no longer require specific color 4-matches.

  • Reduced treasure chance in Endless Mode.


[h3]Spells:[/h3]
  • Repopulate: Reduced tiles created. [10->6]
  • Spread Hell: Increased cost to 20 Hellstone.
  • Possess: Increased cost to 25 Hellstone.

Balance Patch & Future Content Plans

[h2]v1.1.0 - Balance Update 1:[/h2]

[h3]General:[/h3]
  • Timed Mode: Dungeon Entrance (first level) enemies are now 5 seconds slower.
  • Orc Priest:
    HP increased to 2.
    No longer creates Skull tiles at the start of combat, but every turn instead.
  • The Head Summoner:
    Now always summons Elementals every 8 turns/25 seconds.
    Encounter also now ends when Summoner dies (All summons disappear).
  • Mummy:
    Tiles are now unwrapped when dying with another enemy still alive.
  • Pharaoh's Sarcophagus:
    No longer creates skull tiles or burns the bottom row.
    Now spawns Mummies much more frequently (max 2).
    Encounter still ends when Pharaoh dies. (All summons disappear).
  • Nytemare:
    Increased chance to appear in normal mode.
  • The following enemies are now immune to attack knockback:
    The Blacksmith, Orc Priest, The Head Summoner, Ancient Lich, Vault Keeper, Formicid


[h3]Spells:[/h3]
  • Transpose: Now has unlimited charges.
  • Knife: Changed casting condition to [two ordered matches of the same color].
  • Murder: Changing casting condition to [30x random color].


[h3]Relics:[/h3]
  • Investments: Cost increase per relic reduced. [3 -> 1 tiles]
  • Crown of Torment: Self-damage is now slower. [5 -> 6 turns]
  • Ogre Club: Stun duration reduced. [2 -> 1 turns], [5 -> 3 seconds]. (Stun still prevents enemies from healing)


[h2]Future Content Plans:[/h2]
A future free content update is planned to be released some time early this summer.
The update will feature a bonus end-game campaign with a handful of new branches, enemies, and treasures.

Hotfix: v1.0.42

With an upcoming balance update next week (and a planned content update in the near future) - here is another quick hotfix patch.

  • Pause Menu can now be accessed during animations/chest screen.
  • "Monkey's Paw" now properly saves its charges, when game is quit and continued.
  • Fixed minor relic interaction bugs.
