Patch 0.5.8

Hello Pilots!

We bring some small but important changes.

  • There are now 3 zooms you can choose from during combat
  • Ultrawide monitors now supported during combat but black bars will still be used in other parts of the game.
  • Improvements in enemy visibility, but it’s still a work in progress
  • Added a small map fight for Act 3
  • Minor Improvements and polish in UI


October will bring a new and big content update, more details soon!

0.5.7 - Boost Update

Hello Pilots!

With the 'Boost Update' we did some core changes and added new cards and equipment.
You will now have an equipment by default that gives you a free movement card, so you can get faster to where the fight is. But only at the start of each combat!

Here are some of the new cards added:



The new common equipment cards give bonus relative to your regular move actions.
Some of them might be overpowered when used together, but we will address this later as we do more play testing.

All the changes:

  • Added 5 new common cards: Tactical Analysis, Launch Boost, Staccato, Crushing Blow and Photon Beam
  • New Equipments: Move Cycler, Move Synergy, Hydraulic Bypass, Battery Overcharge
  • Added a new default equipment (Battery Overcharge) that spawns new card at start of combat
  • New small maps added to Act I and Act II for more engaging combat
  • Kinetic Shields cost reduced to 1
  • Minor changes to the player and enemy stats bar
  • Fixed an uncommon bug that locked your cards
  • New gfx: Now helicopters move around at the start of the combat


We also plan to do bigger changes to how the enemy intent actions work, maybe later this week.

Draft Update

Hello Pilots!

This is our first content update, introducing a new game mode and some visual improvements.
And there is still a lot more planned for the coming weeks.

In Draft Mode you choose one card in one pack, that contains 10 cards, and then get to receive more packs until you complete a deck with 10 cards. Each pack will have the rarest card removed on each pick.
This means each time you play a draft game you get to create a unique powerful starting deck.

Here is the change list:

  • The Draft Mode is now available! Build your deck from rotating card packs.
  • New cutscenes added!
  • You can now view the whole game card library in the main menu.
  • Some Acts will now be longer.
  • Each Act will only have 1 equipment reward now.
  • There are now arrow indications for the player mech location and enemies.
  • Better indications when you have adjacent buildings that are blocking you.
  • Anti Field cost reduced to 0
  • Minor balance stuff


Small patch and upcoming content updates

Hello Pilots!
The first content update will drop later next week.
We will add a new game mode and a couple of important changes, but more details on that will come later.

Meanwhile here are some minor fixes, thank you for the feedback!

  • Deal with the void now deals 4 instead of 5
  • Changed player explosion animation
  • Increased HQ text box time on screen
  • Buildings no longer show that people were killed when they didn’t had any people
  • Fixed enemy intents not going away on enemy death
  • Other minor visual fixes

Patch 0.5.4c - More fixes and two new cards!

Hello Pilots!

It's a small change log but we just added two new cards:



We are also aware of the visibility issues and we plan to improve this in next week's patch.
There is also coming new tutorial improvements including some explanation around the enemy intents.

Changes:

  • Added 2 new cards: Field Attack and Grappling Hook
  • Shield Kinetics: Increased range to 6 from 3
  • Increased the 'don't lose 50 population' secondary mission to 100.
  • Fixed an issue where 'damage to all' cards were not hitting some of the fliers
  • Reduced HP from buildings in Act II
  • Other minor issues
