Hello everyone!
We are beyond excited to announce the delivery of "The Age Advancement Update," the first part of our roadmap! 🎉 But that's not all this update is packed with tons of new features and countless bug fixes to enhance your overall game experience! 😉

Our game now features an age advancement system reminiscent of the classics, designed to keep strategy fresh and engaging. Here's a quick overview of the system:
🔥 Age I: Focuses on building a strong foundation with basic economy and resource gathering.
⚔️ Age II: Introduces military expansion and resource optimization.
🏰 Age III: Unlocks the full potential of your armies and all game mechanics for maximum strategic depth.
Each age introduces new buildings, units, and technologies to support your evolving strategy and playstyle.

[h3]🔥 Age I: Ember Age[/h3]
Available Buildings: House, logging camp, mining camp, and barracks (only basic infantry units).
Primary Focus: Resource gathering and building a solid economic foundation.
[h3]⚔️ Age II: Legion Age[/h3]
New Buildings: Archery range, stable, towers, and market.
Technologies: Advanced military upgrades and more efficient resource gathering.
Focus: Military expansion and better resource management.

[h3]🏰 Age III: Dominion Age[/h3]
New Buildings: Siege workshop and special civilization bonus buildings.
Technologies: Final military and economic upgrades.
Access: The most powerful military units and advanced game mechanics.

[h3]Our Approach to Balancing[/h3]
We wanted to ensure progression is both flexible and fun! There are no mandatory building requirements to advance ages meaning you can develop your own strategies without being forced down a specific path. However, we’ve implemented some building limits per age to maintain early-game balance and ensure fair competition.
[h3]Improvements and Bug Fixes:[/h3]
  • Fixed UI issues with unit groups assigned to number keys.
  • Resolved tower placement issues for the Norvion faction.
  • Fixed cursor moving to secondary screens in different display modes.
  • Corrected the bug where soldiers could walk over destroyed walls or gates.
  • Resolved the issue preventing ramp construction after destroying a tower on walls.
  • Fixed the Veridia statue technology issue.
  • Addressed invisible AI towers in strategy mode.
  • Corrected material issues in Norvion buildings in strategy mode.
  • Fixed the problem where crossbow units would shoot the ground when far away.
  • Resolved UI issues with building interfaces in strategy mode.
  • Fixed worker units getting stuck in rocks on the Barren Dunes map.
  • Corrected health bar positioning issues in strategy mode.
  • Solved the problem in the tutorial's lumber collection task.
  • Addressed the issue causing characters to deal double damage with a single hit.
  • Fixed visual issues with gate iron bars in strategy mode.
  • Optimized control code for the Sword Camel unit.
  • Added more variety to camera shake effects during attacks.
  • Corrected soldiers getting stuck during formation battles.
  • Fixed the issue where some characters dealt multiple damage in a single hit.
  • Enhanced indicators showing where units would move when exiting buildings.
  • Added the ability to send units directly onto walls from buildings.
  • Made visual changes to certain structures of the Veridia, Solvong, and Norvion factions.
  • Improved Ranger formations.
  • Fixed issues in the tutorial related to wood and stone gathering tasks.
  • Corrected positioning issues in Finisher animations and smoothed out camera transitions.
  • The attack input of the archers has been changed.
  • Sound has been added for arrows whooshing through the air.

Hotfix Update #9

Our knights are sharpening their swords, and our archers are taking aim! With Hotfix #9 for Eyes of War, we've fixed various technical issues on the battlefield and improved gameplay fluidity. Here are the fixes and improvements in this update:

  • Fixed an issue where the win screen would not appear after completing a battle mode game.
  • Fixed errors occurring when destroying a rampart while soldiers were on top of it.
  • Fixed burning building animations not extinguishing properly.
  • Fixed Catapult building health bar issues.
  • Fixed an issue preventing new buildings from being placed where old ones were destroyed.
  • Fixed multiplayer particle errors.
  • Fixed decal issues.
  • Fixed the ability to walk on destroyed walls in strategy mode.
  • Fixed problems with the mounted archer’s bow and arrows.
  • Fixed visual issues with the catapult machine's burning technology.
  • Fixed language issues in the strategy mode lobby.
  • Fixed the main castles' health bars not appearing in strategy mode.
  • Fixed language problems in the unit selection screen of Arena mode.
  • Fixed ballista arrows not being visible.
  • Changed the arrow trail effect and fixed the visibility issue.
  • Adjusted mounted characters within Molotov range for better alignment.
  • Fixed errors in the firing mechanism of buildings under European technology.
  • Added missing feedback when dealing damage to workers with arrows.
  • Fixed the issue where mounted archers incorrectly drew their arrows.
  • Added randomness to archers’ accuracy based on movement for a more realistic aiming system.
  • Optimized LOD for Silveria cavalry riders.
  • Optimized the throwing system.
  • Synced health bars with building destruction animations.

Hotfix Update #8

A new Hotfix has been released for a smoother battlefield experience! This update fixes unit collision issues on maps, minimap bugs, and visual glitches. Check out the details below!

  • Fixed an issue where soldiers would get stuck inside rocks in battle mode maps.
  • Resolved a problem with character transition effects.
  • Fixed an issue with death animations.
  • Fixed the problem where building health bars remained visible in strategy mode.
  • Resolved the issue where health bars stayed open after construction was completed.
  • Fixed minimap bugs.
  • Fixed the main castle issue on the Flatriver map.
  • Updated battle mode maps. Soldiers will no longer get stuck inside rocks during formation.

Hotfix Update #7 Live with a Special Surprise!

The mightiest force of destruction in sieges, catapults, now strike with smarter accuracy! Soldiers stuck on rocks in the heat of battle have been freed, and archers now choose their targets more precisely! Additionally, various fixes have been made to buildings, walls, and bandit accessories. 💥

And we have a surprise! 💖 Valentine’s Day is just one day away, and we couldn’t resist adding a touch of romance to the battlefield! 💘 A special in-game content awaits you! 🎀

  • Catapults now deal different damage based on their distance from the impact point.
  • Improvements to group attack mechanics.
  • Fixed AI behavior issues for archer units.
  • Resolved a bug in Tears of River & Sands of Destiny maps in Battle mode where soldiers got stuck on rocks at the start of the round.
  • Improved camera-ground distance control system.
  • Fixed accessory issues for bandits.
  • Resolved bugs that occurred when buildings leveled up.
  • Fixed an issue where walls displayed incorrect health values during construction.

Hotfix Update #6

Commanders, while the battle on the strategy field rages on, we've been quick to fix critical issues and enhance your gameplay experience! Here’s what’s been fixed and improved in this update:

  • You can now see which buildings your construction collides with, allowing for more precise placement.
  • You will receive warnings when trying to build in unsuitable areas.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking on an already built structure while in building mode would open its panel.
  • Buildings will now start with low health and gradually regenerate to full.
  • Fixed an issue where enemy buildings and units constructed after discovery were still visible on the minimap.
  • Various minimap-related bug fixes have been implemented.
  • Fixed an issue where structures could be placed inside rocks on the Barren Dunes map.
  • Fixed preview issues with corner sections of walls.
  • Fixed an issue where ballista shots would pass through walls.
  • Fixed a color issue with Solvong Guardian units.
  • Fixed issues occurring after Bandit Archers attacked.
  • Fixed a material issue with the Solvong Guardian unit.
  • Fixed an issue in Strategy Mode where walls couldn't be built due to an insufficient wood error.
