Patch 1.2 Notes

Patch 1.2 implemented


[h3]Improvements:[/h3]
- All enemies have reduced offensive stats.
- In RPG Classic: Players will receive 50% more EXP
- In Real Game: Players will now receive 15% more EXP
- Added Talisman of Trinity (+25% EXP) in Elrik's Jewelry (Havencross East)
- Added 41 Achievements
- Bosses and enemies now feature adjusted attack stat and have undergone initial level rebalancing.

Zander the Knight has been introduced to Maganrock Tavern. Originally exclusive to East Akendius, this addition ensures players can recruit a reliable tank with heavy armor earlier in the game, addressing potential progression concerns.

Added static 'special' statue rewards: Greater Barrier Ring, Ring of Darkness, Mask of Corruption,
Ring of Stamina and Ring of Trinity can now be found persistently in specific high-level dungeons.

Automation for mercenaries have been removed.
Players can now control the respective nation's special hires.
Do note that these original auto-mercs have a lower skillset count .

[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]
- Fixed a "Beauty Lotion" sidequest not completed if declined.
- Revised text to provide clearer location details for bounty patrols for Bear Takedown and Wolf Aggression.

Patch 1.1 Notes

Patch 1.1 Implemented

Improvements:

  • Reworked entire Nephalia world map to reduce stutter and performance loss.
  • Nephalia world is now split into 3 separate maps.

    - Kingdom of Evendale
    - Empire of Magania
    - Realm of Akendius

  • Added removal codes to autorun events for newly added maps.
    Existing saves should now work properly.
  • Added hotkey 'N' and 'Numpad
  • '
  • Added the option to toggle between High and Low End Spec during your playthrough instead of only the character creation screen. (*A new playthrough is required for this function)
  • Added item Map of Nephalia, use N to toggle the world map.
    Requires the item to be in your inventory.


Bug fixes


  • Fixed '3 hungry bears' troop with immortal states.
  • Fixed Evendale to Magania Boat Scene where unlicensed mercenaries decide to join your party illegally.
  • Fixed Mia or Bigelo trying to muscle into your party even before story companion Lance joins your party.


An existing save game should be compatible to play, but you must take an additional step to enter and exit a house or room before leaving into the world map, to avoid cached events that are loaded from saves.

A new playthrough is recommended.

As there is a large amount of path scripts being reworked, there may be
paths that might be missed. In the event of such occurences, please kindly leave a bug report in the discussion board and the issue will be attended to promptly.

Nephalia world map improvements plans

Dear Players,

We're aware of the performance issue some of you have encountered when navigating the World of Nephalia map.

Rest assured, we're actively addressing this concern by undertaking a significant tileset overhaul.

This overhaul is slated to be rolled out in the next update, which will also include a host of improvements:

- Option to toggle between High and Low Graphics settings.
- Ability to access a comprehensive Full Map of Nephalia with named locations,
although acquiring the map will be necessary.
- Removal of unused tilespaces.

Hotfix #3

- Reduced Difficulty of Enemy - Gloomwood Treant
- Gloom Forest Entrance - Fixed buggy event that caused soldier to jump out and block movement.
- Quality of life - All non-dungeon layers of save points now allows you to select a save slot.
Some dungeons first level may have this option as well, but not further beyond.
- Magania Slave District: Removed Slaver NPCs conversations and replaced with generic ones.
Slave-triggered npcs are still under reworking.
- Begonia Inn - Fixed ghost tiles and corrected yellow debris (floating)
- Midthorne East - Fixed pathing into Infirmary
- Tower of Nix - Fixed glitch where your character will get stuck in a "direction fix" when you trigger to many spikes at the same time. Simply exit the floor to resolve the direction stuck issue if encounter.
- Welton Estate - Fixed paths for East and West wings having invisible blocking tiles (ghost tiles again!)
- Added an entrance save point for Undead Swamp Craters (Evendale)

Hotfix #2

- Madam Mozell brothel shift will now correctly return to Madam Mozell Brothel instead of transporting to Evening Bosom.
- Town Dustings - Ashen Logs Quest Renown fixed, assignment corrected to Magania Renown.
- Magania Merchant District had several pathing issues - addressed fixed over reworking the tileset.
- Port Lodeen Little Girl Cat quest will now properly mark as completed (only if quest is still open)
