0.6 - The Otto Update (new playable character!)

Howdy folks!

We are excited to add Otto to the Cowboy 3030 roster! Otto is our full-auto specialist who uses a variety of automatic guns ranging from a light machine gun to a FAMAS. His active abilities are the Frost Bomb and Quick Reload. Otto stands out from other characters with his potentially highest DPS, though his bullets are harder to land as you have to lead the shots. He is now available to play in the new 0.6 update!

In addition to introducing Otto, we've added weight to all the weapons. You may notice some weapons causing you to move slower or faster depending on their weight.

Meta Progression Update (0.525)

Hello everyone!

We are excited to share a major update to the game. We have added a new badge system where you can unlock badges by completing missions. You will be able to equip up to four badges before the start of a run. The badges offer various effects, such as making barrels spawn coins, causing bosses and mini-bosses to drop an extra weapon, allowing you to reroll your progression grid, and more. Currently, there are 12 badges to unlock, and we plan to add more throughout development.



We appreciate everyone for playing the game and providing valuable feedback. Our goal is to create the best game possible for our players, and the number one request we received was to add meta-progression. Therefore, we created the badge system, which offers a mix of light stat boosts and QoL enhancements. Our intention with the new badge system is to give players a sense of progress without altering the core gameplay too much.

We hope you enjoy the new system! If you have any suggestions or feedback, we are all ears and would love to hear from you!
