PIDev 1.0.0 available now!

PIDev 1.0.0 is available for testing via the betas tab. It is still in development, so some features might not be fully functional. Multiplayer does not work yet, and biomes are still coming. Worlds made in this version might brake with future updates, and existing worlds from the main branch version will be corrupted if loaded in the Infinite version.

Introduction

There is no update this week. As I mentioned at the start of the Alpha 1.0.2 update patch notes, I am working on completely overhauling the world generation systems in Wild Omission. This will take some time, and I want to make sure I get it right before releasing it publicly. When I have it ready for playing I will release it as a separate branch, and after it's completely ready it will be released on the main branch. Old save files will not be compatible with the new system, because everything has been changed regarding how worlds are saved and loaded. I will keep the old version of the game playable via the betas tab on the steam launcher for players who still want to play on their old worlds.

What's Coming?

In short, Infinite Procedural Generated Worlds.
