We've been silently hard at work for the last couple of months, but now we are excited to announce that Toy Shire is coming out very soon! Toy Shire will be released in Early Access on August 26. Thank you for your patience! With the launch, we will also be running a 10% discount for two weeks, so make sure not to miss out on the discount during our release window!

What's in Early Access?

The Early Access release version offers around 4–5 hours of playtime based on our playtests. Below, you can find a list of features that you can expect to find in the Early Access release.

• A total of 12 levels.4 rooms in Kevin's house, each with 3 levels to complete and a boss fight at the end.
  
• 8 types of towers and 8 types of soldiers for you to bolster your defenses or go on the attack with.
  
• 28 types of basic enemies and 4 bosses. Each room has 7 different types of enemies and a unique boss at the end.
  
• Creative Mode, where you can make your own levels using more than 100 objects at your disposal. Share your levels or play levels made by others through Steam Workshop.
  
• More than 30 achievements to earn.
  
• 3 different difficulty levels to cater to all types of players.
  

Shortly after the release of Early Access, we'll be making an update that introduces fun minigames and integrate Steam Cloud Saves. For more information about our future plans, you can check out our current roadmap below.

Why Early Access?

As you can see from our roadmap, we have big plans for Toy Shire. In order to accomplish those goals, we figured it would be best to involve the community during that process. This doesn't mean we think Toy Shire isn't ready yet, we hope that you'll find that the game has enough content for now and is polished well.

We want to get your feedback on the content that's ready as we work on those big updates for the future. Your feedback will allow us to make necessary changes and fine-tune the balancing of the game, so that we can make Toy Shire the best it can be. For any feedback, please join our Discord server, use the Steam Discussions forums, or leave a review!

Toy Shire is taking part in Steam's Tower Defense Fest. The demo will be live during the event, so if you haven't played it before, now is the perfect time to try out the first 3 levels of Toy Shire.

The event will be live from July 29th, 10 AM PDT to August 5th, 10 AM PDT. Make sure to give the demo a try before the event ends!

If you've recently been given access to the Playtest, please take the time to fill out the feedback form as those feedbacks are quite valuable to us in improving the game! Thank you!

We're looking for your feedback for the latest version of the game and have decided to use the Steam Playtest feature. If you are willing to try out the game for a certain time and fill up a form you can access in-game to give us your feedback, we'd love to have you join us during this process!

You can use the Playtest widget on the store (image below) to request access and we'll be accepting the requests as availability pops up!



Once you are accepted into the Playtest and launch the game, you will see a button for a form to give your feedback. Please play the game for as much as you can and give us your feedback using the form. You can also join our Discord server for discussions and feedback!
