I am glad to let you know that The Merry Fairy will be attending this wonderful party and that 10 x Steam tickets for my enchanted cottage will be given away in various ways.[/p][p][/p][p]I made an entire new video for this wonderful occasion where the inspiration allowed me to create two scrapbook journal spreads. If you feel inspired, or if you feel like you could inspire me, please do tell! [p]Dear friend,[/p][p][/p][p]After a few days of resting and celebration (there was more cake over the weekend!), I am very glad to be back in my beautiful digital cottage with a few new things for you! Please make sure that your cottage is refreshed (your build is updated, as a developer might say) and that you see the number 55 in the lower left side of the screen.[/p][p][/p][p]I added a brand new page of decorations for the Guestbook. This artwork is a tribute to something really close to my heart. It will also become available in the Demo version, which can be enjoyed freely, IF my world domination plans work properly and it is indeed super easy to freshen up the Demo as well. Wish me luck! [/p][p][/p][p]I also moved the radio! I know some of you with varied resolutions have troubles accessing it, and this was the easiest way to make sure everyone has easy and nice access to the beautiful music I hand-picked for my cottage. I also placed a little extra candle just in case someone wants a bit of light for when changing the channels.[/p][p][/p][p]Some strange resolutions also showed a very strange duplicate of the Settings page and that should also now be fixed. Finally, the windchime sometimes would become super happy with no good reason, but we had a talk with it and now it will behave properly.[/p][p][/p][p]Oh, and I fixed a lot of typos! Thank you, wonderful magical souls who have helped me spot them - your feedback is so helpful! [/p][p][/p][p]I am well aware that sometimes, the decorations you try to pick disappear in the air. It is a bug that escapes us for now, but not for long, I am sure. [p]Dear friend,[/p][p][/p][p]Time started to work in a truly strange fashion since I celebrated the Grand Opening of The Merry Fairy! Part of me feels like it happened just a few hours ago, and yet it also feels like I have been welcoming magical souls at my enchanted cottage for ages.[/p][p]I cannot thank you all enough for the outpouring of love and amazing birthday wishes since the 9th of July. I had an amazing birthday, with Cherry Cake and Fairy sandwiches, all provided by my garden who seems to have decided to celebrate with me! It was the first day that I picked ripe tomatoes, one cucumber and a good deal of delicious lettuce. It was also the day when the forest gifted me with chanterelles for the first time this year. And the lovely cherry trees were ready and ripe for my birthday cake, which the Caretaker made with love and artistry. He makes the most amazing cherry cake in the Universe![/p][p]And then there was you 💖💖💖[/p][p]Fairies are notorious for being shy, and I am quite shy even for a fairy. But I think that, for two whole years, my heart built up the courage to open up and seek new friends! My bones knew it, my senses knew it but my brain could not quite believe that there are many, many magical creatures out there who would love to be my friend! I think this is why the Grand Opening of The Merry Fairy was such a magical gift to me. Thank you, thank you so much for coming![/p][p][/p][p]Now, I am trying to recover from the immense anticipation that I felt while preparing for the Grand Opening. I slept very little for the past few... weeks? Months? So I am still quite tired. And feeling so much happiness and joy as I have been feeling since my birthday is also quite tiring. So I am not as present here as I wish I would have wished. Still...[/p][p][/p][p]Today I feel like my heart needs to create a scrapbook journal spread. I will record it - this time, even with the sound on! - and let it loop until I can come back and stream live. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

I think all feelings are amazing teachers, but some really do need extra energy to dance with your heart. I felt a lot of what some may call stress or fear. But in the last few days, as I was getting the cottage ready for The Grand Opening, I realized that what I was feeling so strongly and dramatically is ANTICIPATION. And a great deal of joy and belonging. You are so, so welcome here! [/p][p][/p][p]Dear friend, if you feel the deep magic in your heart, rumbling like thunder getting ready to roar, come for a visit to The Merry Fairy! [/p][p]Ask your heart if my cottage is right for you - she will know 💖[/p][p]I trust your magic fully, because I have been feeling it encouraging me to prepare this Grand Opening for years. I challenge you to not listen to your shame or fear, because if you have a dream, what you might think is a tiny whisper can be the thundering roar millions others need. [/p][p]Use your voice, speak your truth, and embrace your magic! [p]Dear friend,[/p][p][/p][p]In about 14 days, 6 hours and 33 minutes, I will release the full version of The Merry Fairy (it will be less than that by the time I finish writing this). My heart beats faster at the thought and I have little patience to spare any minute away from my computer, to the detriment of my family, friends and beautiful garden. But the last time I 've been in the forest, my dear old troll friend whispered to me:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]He does not code, but this is what got stuck in my mind when I heard him, and its a perfect format right now.[/p][p]If I feel fear, it means that my focus is not in the right direction. The Merry Fairy is a creation of joy. It is my expression of love of live and hope for the future, so if I feel anything else than happiness when creating it, then somehow, somewhere, I strayed away from the path I wish to take. [/p][p]So I am writing this to promise you that I am doing my best to focus. No fear, only joy, and I hope you will feel it in abundance when playing my game. With this comes another merry set of promises:[/p]

• [p]The Merry Fairy Demo will forever be available. I have no intention of taking it down and I designed with the careful intention to be a trustworthy perpetual scrapbook journal for any magical soul out there who might have a need to spare some hard earned money. As of a few weeks ago, the development branches between the Demo and full game have parted ways and are no longer compatible, so I currently have no further demo update plans. But I do hope that in the future, I will add more content and with a little luck, I hope I made it easy enough to be able to provide that even if The Merry Fairy and The Merry Fairy Demo are two distinct creations now.[/p]
• [p]The Merry Fairy will cost USD/ EUR 9.99 and all future game updates (of which I hope to have for as long as I live) will forever be free. The 9 is important because on the 9th of July is my birthday and this is a gift to myself. This is why I tweaked both the USD and EUR main currencies to reflect that even though the parity is not the same. All other currencies supported by Steam will be at Valve's discretion. I strongly suggest to not talk to me about currency parity unless you would enjoy a long and intricate debate about fairness, capitalism, and the current state of the world. But if you insist, please.... [/p]
