3.7.4 Patch Notes

As we announced earlier, this week we'll deploy the 3.7.4 update that includes the stackable Fossils feature, various improvements and bug fixes. Today we've prepared a preview of its patch notes for you to check out.

Please note that these patch notes may not be final and are still subject to change before the patch.

Features
  • Common Delve Fossils can now be stacked up to 20. Rare Delve Fossils can now be stacked up to 10. All Delve Fossils can be stacked up to 5,000 in the wildcard slots of a Currency Stash Tab.
  • The amount of Rage that you have is now displayed as a numerical value above your Mana Globe.
  • Exclamation marks above NPCs can now also be seen on the minimap.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug introduced in patch 3.7.0 where the "+x% to Fire Resistance while on Low Life" modifier found on Rise of the Phoenix was not working.
  • Fixed a bug where Cyclone and Righteous Fire's area of effect was visibly scaling with Character Size. This has no functional effect on its area of effect.
  • Fixed a bug where the visual indicators in the Vaal Oversoul encounters did not always match where damage would be dealt.
  • Fixed a bug where, if two Legion Historic Jewels were altering a Keystone passive and one of them would result in the Keystone being Dance with Death, while the other jewel was actually the one altering the Keystone (to something other than Dance with Death), you would be unable to equip a helmet.
  • Fixed a bug where Shaper dialogue would play when a Shaper Guardian fragment dropped from Legion sources.
  • Fixed a bug where channelled skills could sometimes fail to deal damage while on Predictive networking mode.
  • Fixed a bug where using a skill that shared a cooldown with other skills (such as Molten Shell and Steelskin) then quickly disabling that skill (such as by reducing your attributes) would cause the cooldown to pause until you re-enabled the skill that was used.
Crash Fixes
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur during the Elder encounter.
  • Fixed three instance crashes.

Stackable Fossils Coming This Week!

Since the launch of the Delve expansion last year, many of you have been asking us to make Fossils stackable. We're excited to announce that we managed to resolve technical issues which prevented earlier implementation of this feature. We plan to introduce it by the end of this week in the 3.7.4 update alongside other improvements.

Once the 3.7.4 patch goes live, you'll be able to stack your Fossils, and will be able to socket them directly into Resonators from a stack. Common and valuable fossils stack to 20 and 10 respectively. The stack size in the wildcard slots of the Currency Stash Tab is 5000, like other currency items.

We plan to make similar changes to (empty) Resonators in the near future.

We've just released the Automaton Storm Brand Effect and also started a huge sale on Footprints, Portals and Character Effect microtransactions. In addition, we're offering one free Frontier Mystery Box when you spend points! Find out more below.

The Automaton Storm Brand Effect replaces the standard effect of a Storm Brand skill gem with a red lightning effect that's popular among the community. Check it out by pressing M in game.

This weekend a hundred Footprints, Portals and Character Effects are available at discounted prices, including the Illusionist Portal Effect, the Mystic Character Effect, the Infernal Footprints and many more. Press M to check out the discounted selection.

This sale will run from the time of this post until 9PM July 22nd (PDT).

This is also the final weekend of our three month promotion with Twitch Prime, so you only have a few days left to redeem the Steam-Powered Portal, Arcane Visage, Arcane Halo and Azure Weapon Effect for free. The offer ends on the 23rd of July (PDT). Find out more in this announcement.

Additionally, we're offering one free Frontier Mystery Box when you spend any amount of points in the store! This means you can purchase the new Storm Brand effect or some microtransactions on sale, and get one Frontier Mystery Box as a gift! The offer is available on PC and consoles and ends at 9PM July 22nd (PDT).

Please note: it's only possible to get one free Frontier Mystery Box from this promotion. Making additional microtransaction purchases will not grant additional mystery boxes. Purchasing a supporter pack will not grant a free mystery box but spending points from a supporter pack can grant a free mystery box.

Thank you for your support and have a nice weekend! By the way, we've got some exciting news to share next week, so stay tuned!
