Meet Bill and Gnome Chompski. You already know them? That’s great because now they’re coming to Dying Light as a new playable model and a two-handed weapon. Download the new DLC to enjoy these iconic Left 4 Dead characters in Harran, and have the best of both worlds.

That’s not all! We’re bringing the amazing Left 4 Dead 2 gameplay experience to Dying Light in the Viral Rush event. Face hordes of enraged zombies in this extremely challenging game mode, and try to survive. To make it a bit easier, and a lot more fun, you’ll be able to use a new type of shotgun ammo that gives the infected a taste of fire and brimstone. And remember – whenever you get tired of fighting off endless zombie hordes, you can turn the Viral Rush event off in the options menu.

We’re also bringing back the HyperMode, which means you will send your enemies flying with kicks and punches.

What’s more, finishing a local goal will let you claim an item from the freshly released Volkan Combat Armor Bundle. That’s right – if you finish off 100 zombies or bandits, using your incredible melee skills, you will receive The Volkan Combat Pistol.

As a reward for the global goal, we are bringing back the C4 blueprint. If the community reaches 10 000 000 killed enemies, you will receive this destructive tool to fight enemies on the streets of Harran.

The event will last until Monday, 5th of October, 19:00 CEST.

The first update to our latest Dying Light DLC is coming out on PC on September 30. A month later, it will be available on consoles. As you know, releasing updates on consoles takes much more time, though we’re working on delivering the content to all platforms simultaneously in the future.

This update is just the beginning.

According to our original vision, we’re going to continue adding new content to Hellraid regularly. We want you to know that we always listen to your feedback, and we hope this first patch will prove it. It starts with new weapons, bounties, and some tweaks, fixes, and improvements, but quality needs time. They cannot be done in a rush, and we want Hellraid to become a unique experience, which will bring new challenges to Dying Light.
