It's CARnage Time in Dying Light: The Following!

Jump behind the wheel of your buggy and show those zombies what happens when you don’t look both ways before crossing a street in Harran. Burn the undead to a crisp with the flamethrower, zap them with the electric cage, blow them up with mines – whatever suits you, as long as you use your vehicle’s weapons.

Reach event goals and receive rewards.

Dying Light's Hellraid DLC has been pushed back to August

The Hellraid DLC for Dying Light has been delayed, but don't worry: it's just for a couple weeks. Developer Techland has announced that the expansion will now launch August 13 on PC, and that it plans on making some adjustments based on players' reaction to the recent Hellraid beta.

Hellraid is a strange but delightful looking piece of DLC that pulls players into a haunted arcade cabinet found in the basement of the Tower in Harran. Inside, they'll find themselves in a '90s style dungeon crawler full of skeletons straight outta Stonekeep. Around here, we're always up for smashing skeleton skulls, and if Dying Light wants to hand us a mace, then so much so the better.

However, it looks as though we'll have to wait just a bit longer. Originally slated for a July 23 launch, Hellraid is now coming August 13, which is a scant three week delay. In videogame rescheduling terms that's hardly any time at all, and if Techland needs a little extra time to get a few more features in or bugs squashed, great - it'll make for better mandible mashing when they're ready.

Dying Light – Hellraid: The gates of Hell will open a little later

We received tons of great feedback during our beta of Dying Light – Hellraid. Big thanks to everyone who participated! We’re hell-bent on applying your suggestions, so we will be launching the new game mode on August 13 for PC, and August 14 for consoles.

Summer Madness event is back!

IIs there anything better than cracking open a cold one by a barbecue on a warm summer evening?

How about cracking open some zombie skulls with your fists? Get ready for Summer Madness, a zombie slaughtering extravaganza which brings back two popular game modes – HyperMode and Super-Crane – combined. Yes, you can enjoy superhuman punches and enhanced grappling hook at the same time!

Can you become an ultimate zombie slayer? Launch Dying Light and prove yourself by killing 200 zombies with your bare fists and throwing another 200 off buildings. If you’re looking to get something out of this (besides pure fun of obliterating the living dead with style, that is), rest assured you will. Completing each of the two personal challenges will earn you a docket for a gold-tier weapon. If the community manages to reach the global goal of 40 000 000 zombies killed with bare fists or sent falling to their deaths, every participant will be rewarded with three more gold weapon dockets.

The event is available until July 9th, 19:00 CEST.
