We just unveiled our second trailer at The Game Awards. Watch it now and find out why every Dying Light fan is talking about it.

Brace yourself to encounter the biggest threat Kyle Crane has ever faced. Meet the Baron: an emotionless, calculating, but brilliant scientist. Convinced that the remnants of humanity who survived the outbreak are weak, he sees it as his moral right and highest duty to restore order. To achieve this, he's deep into experimenting with sinister virus strains, pursuing his grand design and justifying it by claiming to serve the greater good.

After 13 long years of suffering, it will become clear why Kyle Crane’s thirst for revenge is so intense. With the fate of survivors and factions in the Castor Woods valley hanging in the balance, the legendary hero must use his beastlike powers with the risk of becoming the very monster he despises.

Each area will be meticulously designed and uniquely different. The post-apocalyptic open world will come alive with small, detailed touches in the new interiors, dynamic weather changes and new locations like the Swamps or the Baron’s Laboratory. But there's more to this place than meets the eye.

Wishlist the game now to discover what those things might be and get ready to unleash the beast in Summer 2025.

The Steam Awards 2024: We Need You!
As we begin to wrap up the year, we’d be honored if you would nominate us in the ‘Labor of Love’ category at this year’s Steam Awards.

Almost a decade on, Harran is still populated by zombie slayers, both veterans and newbies, and it shows no signs of slowing down, especially with the upcoming continuation of Kyle Crane’s storyline with Dying Light: The Beast (wishlist it now, if you haven’t already)!

None of us at Techland could ever have imagined that when we were originally working on the game, so please consider nominating us for our decade-long dedication. And if you’ve enjoyed your time in Harran, slaughtering zombies and unraveling the truth, please make sure to leave a review.

Thank you from all of us at Techland!
Get Ghoulish with a Halloween Event Double Feature

The spirits of Halloween have come to haunt you in both Dying Light and Dying Light 2: Stay Human. From now to November 6, you can still face off against Pumpkintiles in Harran as well as other spooky monsters roaming the streets. Don’t forget to use trick-or-treat potions during your nightly pursuits. But beware: some of their effects might prove to be unpredictable.

Meanwhile, Dying Light 2: Stay Human kicks off its own dedicated event today called Tower Raid: Halloween Run. Play as one of four characters and storm the Tower to collect Halloween Candies with up to 4 players in co-op. To get started, find Baka the Unfortunate and his bulletin board at the Bazaar.

After every expedition, you can return to Baka and exchange your Halloween Candies for unique rewards, such as weapons, session perks, or a new collection of Van Aiden Bundle items. Tower Raid: Halloween Run ends on November 20, giving you enough time to spend all your tradable treats before they disappear.

Good night, good luck. Don’t let the monsters bite.
