This week we're going to dive into a fun update for Club ARK, a special mini-event to celebrate the Olympics and more!

Mark your calendars for July 31st as we roll out our latest update, packed with brand-new mini-games that are sure to delight and challenge. We're also happy to share that we’ve addressed a pain point for players by adding Artifacts to Club ARK that will be available via the spinning wheel!

Additionally, we're introducing a wardrobe, consumables, and a dino store—with a chance to get a rare color for your dino! Also, a new item will be added to the weapon and armor stores: a limited use consumable Repair Kit, which can repair items on the go—one repair kit for weapons and one for each armor piece.

Nekatus, the prolific creator of Fjordur and Svartalfheim, has a new mythological map offering in the works: Astraeos!
Immerse yourself in a world of majestic mountain ridges and marble-like cliffs, where white beaches meet a paradise of cherry blossoms in a full sakura biome.

Prepare to face mythological enemies lurking in the shadows, including a fearsome miniboss, or venture into mysterious caves to encounter new, amazing adversaries.
Plus, gear up with new official custom cosmetic armor skins and get ready to embark on an epic journey through Astraeos and uncover its legendary secrets!

The premium version of this vast world will be available later in the year, with a free test version slated for the coming months!




Transfers on The Center Official servers are now open! Players can now move items, creatures, and characters onto the map without restriction!


On April 8th, we deployed a new type of server across the network (for the various game types) that we refer to as "Expire" (which is what you can search for in the session filter).

These servers will be online until 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on August 3rd. We're preemptively using our allocation for Aberration to host some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience The Center Gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto The Center temporarily.

Please note that these servers will no longer exist after 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on August 3rd, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date, as nothing will be saved beyond that time period.

To celebrate athletes around the world showcasing their incredible efforts, the Official Network will receive bonus rates every weekend and Summer Games-inspired colors during the whole event from July 26th to August 12th!
Bonus rates will be active until Monday, July 29th, but the colors will stay!

We've got some news that's ready to jump right into your day. Meet Cosmo, our latest creature for Bob's Tall Tales: Steampunk Ascent!

"It's hard to squish a friend who jumps into your heart as well as your hand." - Bob (probably)

Cosmo, a little beacon of light in a dark and aberrant subterranean land, will be available as your loyal companion in the Aberration edition of Bob's Tall Tales: Steampunk Ascent!


We're currently targeting the release of the Unreal Engine 5.4 upgrade as part of the Aberration and Bob's Tall Tales: Steampunk Ascent on September 4. UE 5.4 improves the efficiency of the rendering system, making it much more parallelized for an approximate 20% overall performance boost on all platforms. It also improves memory management, reduces hitching/stalling, and provides more forward-looking graphics improvements, such as better, longer-range Lumen results - which will all be immediately noticeable when the upgrade is released. If the upgrade is delayed past September 4 due to risk management, the Aberration release will proceed as planned, and the ASA UE 5.4 upgrade will be released as soon as possible.

Simultaneously, we're also working on preparing an AMD FSR 3.1 integration for the September 4 release on all platforms. It is a better, cross-platform version of "frame generation," which uses AI to interpolate frames, resulting in a perceived doubling of framerate with minimal artifacting - and it works on both AMD AND NVIDIA cards. It will be enabled by default when we release it, but it can, of course, be turned off. We will deprecate support for NVIDIA Framegen once FSR 3.1 releases, as FSR 3.1 works on consoles and, thus, is a better technical focus for our team.

When these two features are released, we expect ASA will run far better and have lower system requirements. Finally, by the end of the year, we'll release a "low system requirements" launch option, which will, with some graphical sacrifices, lower the effective 30 FPS system requirements down to the NVIDIA 1080 series of cards.

It goes without saying that supporting modders is a very integral part of ASA’s development. A lot of the work we’ve been doing has been functionality based by providing more power to UGC creators in the Devkit itself, however we’ve also been working on some improvements at a platform level!

We've made significant improvements to our moderation methods with pipeline improvements, as well as increasing our moderation capacity. As a result, Cross-Platform mods can expect a maximum moderation time of 24 hours from submission (earlier in most cases). Reminder that PC-only mods are not affected by this level of moderation, and are instead published immediately.

We’re also working on some cooking pipeline improvements so that mods can get cooked faster and we’re hoping to roll that out in the weeks ahead, and the team is hard at work on delivering the previously mentioned Unrestricted Premium Mod system.

Transfers are coming to the Official Modded Servers! From Wednesday 17th July, 10am PST/1pm EST, players can move items, creatures, and characters between a set of modded maps. The servers will be merged to create clusters, two to be exact, and these clusters contain the group of servers players can travel between. A list of the servers on each cluster can be found below.

It’s important to note that anything left in uploads on the Official Modded Servers will be lost if you don’t download what you want to keep before next Wednesday, and any content that is exclusive to a mod/specific mod server cannot transfer to another one. For example, a creature that is exclusive or specific to Svartalfheim cannot be transferred to a different map.

Our next major core-content release this year will be Aberration Ascended —an eerily beautiful, derelict, malfunctioning ARK with an elaborate underground biome system, and the all-new next chapter of Bob’s Tall Tales. To give this special map the attention it deserves, we have moved the launch to September 4th. Our team is refining the process to complete the remastering of the content as efficiently as possible while maintaining our quality. We apologize for the delay in bringing the beloved Aberration to you, but it will be worth the wait!

In the meantime, there's a lot more to look forward to! We have several additions on the horizon: the Summer Bash event, a new ARK Additions creature coming to the base game, and lots of fun Club ARK updates. Stay tuned!

How to Join the Challenge:

1. Get the Mod: Install the ARK x Power Rangers Cosmetic Pack mod from your ARK: SA in-game menu on PC, Sony Playstation or Xbox.
   
2. Capture: Join the fun and capture your coolest base builds, memes, photos, videos, and most epic moments with the mod.
   
3. Post It: Share your submission on TikTok, Instagram or X (Twitter), with the hashtag #ARKxPowerRangers to participate!
   

Submissions close on June 30th and the winners will be announced on July 8th!

Conquest Servers are launching 6 brand new servers on Tuesday July 2nd at 10 am PDT.

• New servers will follow the same rules and settings as the current servers.
  
• Transfers between the new servers will be unlocked at launch.
  
• Transfers to existing conquest servers will open on July 16th.

This season, Monarky is taking over the Center one grid at a time. Teams of four are divided by biomes and can initially only explore and build within one grid of the map. Each week, they compete to earn more grid squares, expanding their territory and aiming to conquer the entire map. However, they must be cautious—venturing into unclaimed grids drains their health, and entering enemy grids spells trouble.

In Monarky VI: Grid Wars, biomes battle biomes. Teams must make do with their initial grid space until they win new crowns through grueling (but fun!) events. Failure leads to the consequences of Loser Island. At the end of the season, only one team will stand above the rest. So, who do you think will outwit, outplay, and outlast?
