First off, thank you for the wonderful launch Thursday! It has been so amazing to see everyone thoroughly enjoying the game!

Hello fellow vampires,

We are absolutely overwhelmed by your support and so appreciate your care and feedback. We are hard at work behind the scenes improving the game to give a better experience to all you marvelous players, and have made many more fixes that are now in the hands of our capable testers to then push out to you.

That being said, even vampire devs occasionally need to take care of their own fangs. AKA, one of our 2 devs and sole programmer will be out of commission on Monday, 24th Feb into Tuesday in order to have an intense tooth procedure done (with some serious sedation/enchantment at play). So we might be a little more quiet on here then, but rest assured there is still a lot going on offline!

Our dev has been holding off on this important procedure as long as possible in order to get the game out to you all, so we truly appreciate your patience as we continue to work through bugs and make Cabernet the best it can be.

Cabernet is a stylish vampire RPG that's the perfect Bloodlines 2 alternative

I recently decided to watch What We Do in the Shadows, Taiki Waititi's bizarre vampire mockmentary. It was the logical next step in my 'things to watch/play while I wait for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2' journey, and I regret absolutely nothing. Yet, I know that, by the end of it all, the streets of Seattle will likely still be shrouded in shadows; I'm Transylvania dreaming of a release date, but it just isn't here yet. Swooping in to save me, however, is Cabernet, a stylish 2D vampire RPG that just dropped on Steam - and it's been on my wishlist for some time.

Cabernet 1.0.8 Steam Chapter 2 Hotfix

Hey Vampires,

We released a hotfix which fixes not letting you into Skvortsovas house after being invited by Anastasia or Evengy. You will need to meet them both in order to progress!

Hopefully this fix will also help those who are already stuck at this point as well as the new players. Apology for the inconvenience.
