Receptionist Update

[h2]Hello Car Dealers![/h2]
  • We added the new Receptionist feature: filling and emptying repair machines.
    From the employee dialogue, you can now choose which tasks they perform and in what order.



  • For the parts repair task, you can set the minimum number of damaged parts in storage required to start the job.
    Lower values mean more frequent trips. Consider this if another worker is currently dismantling cars.
    This setting only affects moving parts from storage to a machine. The worker will automatically empty the machine once the repair is finished.



  • Machine settings are now unified. The repair percentage threshold applies to both machines.
    This fixes the issue where workers emptied one machine and carried parts straight to the other.



  • We added a 20-second cooldown when you manually add or remove something from a machine.
    After you interact with a machine, the worker will briefly wait before taking over. This prevents conflict with your actions.
  • When a machine finishes, the worker returns parts to storage. They become available to other workers, for example in the mechanical workshop.

  • Fixed collision issues between the player and the fuel dolly.
  • Improved the position of the fuel gun inside the fuel dolly.
  • Enabled collision between the player and the tow dolly.
  • Improved the tow dolly’s behavior after attaching it to a vehicle.
  • Added a warning when the player attempts to attach a trailer at too steep an angle.
  • Improved the behavior of trailer attachment relative to the vehicle.
  • Improved trailer alignment relative to the vehicle.
  • Fixed trailer behavior when loading the game and after resetting the vehicle when the car was parked at an angle.
  • Improved vehicle reset logic when more than one trailer is attached.
  • Improved delivery truck arrival signaling - if an employee is assigned to handle packages, the driver will now honk only once.
  • Improved behavior of the receptionist - the employee now completes their task before leaving after 6 p.m.

Incoming Employee Update

[h2]Hi Car Dealers![/h2]
At the beginning of next week, you’ll receive another update focused on the reception employee. As mentioned before, the employee will now handle loading and unloading the parts repair machine.

Since this is another task added to the system - and more are planned - we’re introducing a simple panel for managing task priorities.



From this window, you can choose which tasks are active and in what order the employee should perform them. Just toggle a task on or off and rearrange the priority list to your liking.

The employee will move between storage and the repair machine. For now, they will only go to storage when there are at least 5 valid parts meeting both the broken-item conditions and your machine settings.
Example: if the machine repairs items only up to 80%, the employee won’t pick up parts that exceed that percentage.

The employee creates packages with up to 10 slots - similar to online shop parcels - and uses them to transport parts to the machine.



In the next update, we’ll also add a UI that lets you define the minimum number of items required before the employee starts the task. We want to avoid situations where they constantly interrupt other duties just to pick up single parts. Soon, you’ll have full control over this threshold.

And this is only the beginning - more employee-related improvements are on the way.

Quality of Life Update

We’ve prepared a small batch of improvements aimed at boosting your overall gameplay comfort. Here’s what’s new:

[h3]Patch notes:[/h3]
  • Increased trunk capacity for several vehicle models:
    • Cargo Wise P3 - from 60 to 80
    • Cargo Wise P2/P4 - from 60 to 100
    • Off-Rider Canyon, Ridge, Boulder - from 40 to 60
  • Increased warehouse capacity on levels 3 and 4 from 300/500 to 500/1000
  • Added a label to the scheduled meeting pin on the map - hovering over it now shows the vehicle model
  • Added total market value of all vehicles in the garage, visible in the garage UI
  • Added the ability to lock vehicles in the garage
  • Expanded interaction range with vendors at the gas station, shop, and junkyard
