[h3]Dirty Play[/h3]
From time to time, you might encounter sabotage from your competitors. Someone might decide to make your life harder by throwing exploding bags filled with dust at your cars!



[h3]Consequences?[/h3]
Dirty cars look less attractive to customers, which means you might have trouble making a sale! You'll need to react quickly - either clean the car or find a way to discourage saboteurs from continuing their attacks.

[h3]More Events Like This![/h3]
Competitor sabotage is just one of many random events that will add realism and dynamism to your journey as a Car Dealer. You can expect even more surprises - both positive and negative!

In today’s devlog, we’d like to share the progress we’ve made in improving systems you may have already seen in the prologue. Analyzing your gameplay and reading reviews on Steam, we noticed that some aspects of the repair system were problematic or not clearly explained enough. That's why we've introduced a few improvements!

[h3]1. Highlighting parts that need work 🔧[/h3]
We’ve added subtle highlighting for task-related elements and parts diagnosed as damaged.



📌 Additionally:

When you hover the mouse over elements, the highlight changes color:
✅ Green - elements you can start repairing.
❌ Red - elements that are not available.



[h3]2. Smoother camera movement in orbit mode 🎥[/h3]
We’ve improved the responsiveness and smoothness of camera movement, making mouse control more intuitive and precise.



[h3]3. “Focus” mode - better zooming and isolating parts 🔍[/h3]
By clicking on a part, the camera will automatically switch to “focus” mode. We've also improved zooming and added a graying-out effect for elements that are not currently important. This allows you to focus on a single part without unnecessary distractions.

In today’s devlog, we’re sharing some new details about the demo’s progression. Based on your comments about the prologue, we noticed that many of you felt the gameplay was too short and lacked variety. We decided to change that!

Starting from day two of the demo, new mechanics will be introduced to enrich your experience. On day three, after completing all the quests, we’ll open up the full gameplay loop - you’ll be able to buy, repair, and sell cars without restrictions, using the mechanics you’ve unlocked throughout the demo.



We want the demo to reflect the spirit of the game and give you more freedom to run your own business. We’re excited to hear your thoughts!

[h2]Hello Car Dealers![/h2]

In today’s devlog, we’re going image-free, but we want to share some insights about our current work on the game. One of the key elements we’re currently reworking is the save system.

In the prologue, the gameplay was rather linear, so the save system mainly relied on checkpoints. However, in the demo, we are gradually opening up the game world to provide you with complete freedom in making decisions - what cars you buy, what you do with them, and how you manage your business.

As a result, we are rebuilding the save system to better suit the new gameplay structure. In addition to the option for manual saves, we are introducing an autosave system that will trigger every 2 minutes. Three slots in the save table will be reserved specifically for autosave, so you can easily revert to one of the earlier game states if needed.

This is just one of many changes we plan to make to enhance your experience in Car Dealer Simulator and make it even more immersive and satisfying. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!
