Thanks for playing!
ScienceRobot

Build 0.5.2

- Small tweaks and cleanups
- Starting local no longer brings up a confirmation, now just plops the second player on the map.
- Fixed some customization bugs

Build 0.5.1

Just a few QoL updates and behind the scenes cleanups, getting things in place for peer-to-peer PvP
- Numbers will appear and blink when respawning.
- Classic mode target number will now gradually increase as the rounds go on. Instead of playing a game where you might get 20 - 110 - 10 as your numbers you'll get 10 - 20 - 110.
- Default max range for classic is 200 from 100. If you already have a max set this won't affect you, just for fresh installs.

Thanks!

Early Access Build 0.5.0!

- Sprite cleanup, modifications, reworks, recolors, etc.
- Reduced the overall game size by about 10MB.
- Fix text and number misalignments in various areas.
- Reworked Classic and Overworld layouts
- Added new 'Retro' classic level for the DK Jr Math enthusiasts (dozens of us)

- Reworked the monkey customization, now choose any color you wish!

Enjoy and thanks for playing!

0.5.0 Plans

With the release of build 0.4.0 it's time to discuss what's next. I think I have the initial 'bones' of the game complete that I originally designed but now it's time to do some janitorial work.

Build 0.5.0 will bring lots of sprite cleanup and in a lot of areas, complete redesign of some levels.
I want to bring this game back to looking more like an NES game but I found I'm using some styles that are more SNES than NES like I originally envisioned.

Lab level changes for example:

Redesign:

Using a proper NES color palette cleans up the level nicely.

I'll also be redesigning the exercise level that harkens back the DK Jr. Math exercise level:

While all this cleanup is going on I'll also be working on the Online PvP mode, outside of Steam Remote Play. Depending on how that goes I hope that will be ready by 0.6.0. I want to stick to focusing on cleaning up some areas in 0.5.0 first.

More to come, thanks for playing.
