Good News, Islanders! 🌴

After originally announcing that Luma Island: Pirates would require starting from scratch, we're happy to say that (thanks to your feedback and some creative problem-solving) we've found a solution that lets you bring your progress with you!

While Pirates will still begin with a new save to support all the big updates (like the new farm layout, Pirate Cove zone, new profession, and new difficulty options), you'll now have 2 ways to play Pirates:

✅ Option 1: Choose to bring your progress with you and:

• Most of your inventory items will come with you
  
• Everything placed on your farm (animals, crops, buildings, etc.) will be safely packed into a special chest on your new farm
  
• Tool upgrades, blueprints, craft benches, buildings etc. will be refunded as resources and money in the same chest. It's up to you to decide how you want to spend it all.
  

🔍 A few things won’t make the journey: Quest progress, story-related items, and progress outside your farm won’t carry over, but everything important to your farm life will be right there with you.

We know your farm took time and creativity, so if you decide to rebuild your farm, you'll have enough resources and money to bring your vision to life again!

🌱Option 2: Start Fresh for a brand-new adventure

Want a totally clean slate? Choose a completely fresh start for the full Luma Island: Pirates experience:

• Discover everything as if for the first time, with no inventory or upgrades carried over
  
• Build your dream farm from the ground up
  
• Perfect for players who love the thrill of a new beginning

[h3]Important Note on Save Files:[/h3]
To access the new content in Luma Island: Pirates, you’ll need to start a new game with a fresh save. This is a technical limitation due to several factors, including a changed farm start map and difficulty options.

If you’d rather keep your current progress, you can continue playing Luma Island without the new Pirates content—your saves will remain available and intact. You can set sail on the Pirate adventure whenever you're ready.

You can switch between Luma Island: Pirates and Luma Island Vanilla as you like.

Latest Improvements 🛠️

• Fixed a bug where players joining large saves would fail to connect.
  
• Fixed a crash with older graphics cards entering the Town and moving towards the Cable Car.
  
• Fixed a bug where certain laser puzzles would fail to open temple entrances even when correctly aligned.
  
• Fixed a bug that would let you hit certain crates with the hoe and they would not break.
