This character rework reveals a bold new vision for Denzel, designed to captivate and resonate with our players.

Some men imagine themselves heroes, with illusions of grandeur or a god complex. Not Denzel. His feet have always remained firmly on the ground—until recently, that is. Before Farmouth Island became a haven for demonic cults and supernatural interference, Denzel was just happy showing up every day to work as a detective, shooting the breeze with his partner Harry and taking out the criminal trash. Did he get bored sometimes? Sure, who wouldn’t in this small town? Well, that was until the ritual began…

Denzel is another one of the major playable characters within the Bornless universe. He had been working alongside Harry for several years before everything changed; before eternal night fell upon Farmouth and monsters walked the land. As a detective, his skills and experience gave him an edge when it came to surviving the events that followed. His role is simple, with a twist: invoke the ancient ritual. Fight. Survive. When exploring The Bornless, you'll encounter assets like these near locations resembling a farm. However, be cautious in the cornfields; there are rumors of farmers disappearing at night. 
Life on Farmouth Island necessitates the use of boats for transportation to and from the mainland. Whether for personal travel or fishing, the people of Farmouth have become accustomed to this lifestyle.
Despite being a bit cliché, the slaughterhouse is one of our favorite locations. The sights and smells of blood and meat seep through the screen, creating a visceral experience whether battling humans or demons. 
Adapting to new technology takes time. Even though telephones existed in the 1960s, many still preferred sending letters. This slower pace fits well with the romantic theme of The Bornless, where Harry goes against demons to find his missing wife.
