Hey everyone,

Thank you for playing Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition! We're thrilled to see you all continuing Aloy's adventure on PC and we really appreciate the outpouring of positive response and the constructive feedback you've given us so far.

Today's hotfix resolves some issues that could pop up while using a controller, in specific circumstances. The teams at Nixxes and Guerrilla continue to monitor player feedback and crash reports and are working on future updates.

We will continue to make optimizations to improve compatibility on handheld PC gaming devices.
NVIDIA DLSS 3, Intel XeSS and AMD FSR 2.2 are available at launch. We are working on integrating AMD FSR 3 including Frame Generation in a future update.

When is Horizon Forbidden West coming out on PC? Having been released as a PlayStation exclusive back in 2022, Horizon Forbidden West is finally coming to PC on Thursday, March 21, 2024 - unless you're in Australia, Japan, or somewhere nearby, as it'll be March 22 already. Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition PC is releasing soon and we can't wait for you to continue Aloy's adventure!

You can now pre-load the game on Steam. By doing so, you can download the game ahead of its release on March 21*.

Horizon Forbidden West complete Edition PC launches globally on March 21 at 8:00 AM PDT / 4:00 PM CET / 7:00 PM GST. Check out the infographic below for more time zones (click to enlarge).

* Please do keep in mind that files downloaded during pre-load are encrypted and will start decrypting up from the moment the game launches. Depending on your hardware, this can take a while. If you have a fast internet connection, downloading the game at launch could be faster.

What are the Horizon Forbidden West system requirements? Like many PS5 ports, Horizon Forbidden West is easy to run on older hardware but will demand some serious power if you want to enjoy 4K gameplay.

To get Horizon Forbidden West performing at its most demanding settings, you will need one of the best graphics cards available, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080. Luckily, to get the game moving on older gaming laptops and PCs, the barrier to entry is far lower.
