With the Chapter 5 update, the Cyber Manhunt 2: New World story has come to an end. To all players who have been waiting for this finale, we thank you for your patience and support, and we hope this chapter is satisfying for everyone.
We have also left an easter egg in Chapter 5... And players who have been closely observing our studio may have noticed a little hint that we left at the start of this year on Apple and Google App Stores.
We are delighted to have this opportunity to live the dream of becoming a game developer. Although there are some differences from the previous installment of Cyber Manhunt, we believe that its core is the same - that is, despite the set-up of a world full of bad people, the idea of love and goodwill is conveyed to everyone.
The "Cyber Manhunt" series started in 2021 and it has been 4 whole years since then.
We at the studio have been continuously growing: polishing the graphics, optimizing the gameplay, upgrading the UI, getting better at integrating social engineering into the game... And we have you, the players, to thank for being steadfast by our side.
At offline game exhibitions and events, we frequently meet players who come by to chat with us, and it always warms our heart to see you, and we become even more determined to get this game right.
The game touched many topics — online safety, information privacy, school bullying, loan sharks... We hope that through the "Cyber Manhunt" series, our players become better informed and we are able to help build a better and safer internet and world.
Even if the impact may be small, but we believe that as long as a single player has gained something from this game, then our efforts would not be for nothing.
As we carry this hope with us, we shall continue to work hard to send our message to the world. Regardless, we take pride in what we have made, and with the final chapter of this game, we can finally let out a small breath and give ourselves a pat on the back and a break.
Compared to the previous "Cyber Manhunt", this game has much more gameplay, drama, performance and voice acting. Hence, the cost of production has greatly increased and we are unable to keep the game price of Cyber Manhunt 2: New World the same as four years ago. After the launch period discount, we will have to increase the price of the game from USD 9.99 to USD 12.99 (and other regions will have a corresponding increase as well) so we hope you understand that this decision was not an easy one to make.
