Cyber Manhunt 2: New World - The Hacking Simulator News

Hello Cyber Detectives!

Thank you everyone for your patience and support for Cyber Manhunt 2: New World. We regret to inform you that due to some delays in the localization progress, the release date of Chapter 5 will be postponed to January 2025.

In our initial roadmap, after Cyber Manhunt 2: New World's early access release in May 2024, we planned to gradually release Chapters 4 and 5 before the end of the year. However, as we progressed, we encountered unexpected challenges with the localization process, particularly regarding the availability of our overseas translation, voice acting, and QA teams during the long Christmas holiday. While Chapter 5 is now complete, these factors mean we won’t be able to release it in 2024 as originally intended.

Localization is a meticulous process that requires multiple rounds of polishing, proofreading, and testing to ensure the highest quality experience. Our overseas team is working diligently to complete the localization as quickly as possible. However, to ensure the game has minimal bugs and maintains the content quality you expect, we need additional time to improve and adjust the game. For these reasons, we made the difficult decision to postpone the release date of Chapter 5.

This decision was not made lightly, and we understand everyone's disappointment. Once again, we would like to extend our deepest apologies to all of you who have been patiently supporting us and waiting for the continuation of Cyber Manhunt 2: New World. However, we would also like to assure everyone that we are determined to complete Cyber Manhunt 2: New World and to create a game that we and our players will be satisfied with.

Cyber Manhunt 2: New World is expected to update Chapter 5 in January 2025. At the same time, the Early Access phase will end and the game will officially be in full release! We look forward to sharing the rest of the game with you and we thank you again for your trust and understanding towards us.

Remember the adorable cat from Chapter 4? Ever since it made its debut, we've been inundated with requests for a desktop pet version.
Well, it's finally here! Enter the game and enjoy some cyber kitty companionship—just be careful not to stare at it too long, or time might slip away unnoticed!


Since the desktop pet wasn’t part of our original plan, and we had to develop it without delaying Chapter 5, only the basic features have been implemented for now (but it’s still functional and fun!).

In fact, once the desktop pet was confirmed for production, the team got quite excited and brainstormed many small features to include. After Chapter 5 is completed, and if time permits, we’ll continue to improve its functionality. Please feel free to share your ideas with us—we greatly appreciate your feedback!

After updating the game, you can access the desktop pet page in-game and summon While True (tears of the programmer) to keep you company!
P.S.: Due to system limitations on Mac, some features are restricted. For a better desktop pet experience, we recommend that Mac players use windowed mode.
